Yeah, once you give a refund, the horse has left the barn. No way to claw back a refund if you willingly gave it.
to be fair, if this was a low dollar item, I think you did the correct thing. Small amount of loss for no headache.
But any item over $20, we always make people return the item before we give a refund UNLESS we see we were clearly in the wrong (bad packing, something we missed).

Whats the vision for your store? How big can you grow based on your storage and current time?

I wish you could just connect your credit card and the charge shipping with no other steps. Like Pirate Bay.

Good catch. It’s difficult to tell if GDBK is just coasting or actually has a team innovating and keeping up with changing platforms.
But eBay accounts are hijacked sometimes and there are attempted scams from anywhere so if there’s something else suspicious I’d say to call eBay and see what they say.
This is good advice. Call eBay to ask about your protections. Having eBay between you and the buyer should give you seller protection.
That’s why most online scams are about getting you off the trusted platform and dealing in untraceable/fake money orders, gift cards, etc.
Yep. Same experience.
We make the buyer pay up front, then they can arrange pickup. Always been fine. Often these are pretty sophisticated buyers who know how to ship.
Interesting. He just retired less than a month ago.
Someone around here may be able to throw out a specific number, but I’d say you should try posting on a Disney related forum. You ay even be able to sell it off eBay to a collector. It would have to be someone pretty geeky who would know who Joe Rohde is.
Yeah, we’re fairly permissive around here. As Sharyn said, it’s nice when you offer up some of your own research, ask specific questions, and help others with their own identification.
Im always learning from what people post.

I want this tattooed on my chest. Yes 100%
02/08/2021 at 10:18 am in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 500: Fireworks! Lasers! Weekly Numbers! #85724Thanks. Yeah, taking care of daily details is a pretty tried and true method of success.
But I think we forget about it with all the online videos declaring how easy it is to run a business and/or get rich/hustle/etc. There are so many unglamorous things we all have to do each day to make our businesses run well. Very difficult to teach those little details. You kind of have to figure it out on your own since it’ll be different based on yr circumstance.
