I just sent an inquiry to a glass museum in Corning NY that houses some of her work.
Ha. Coffee is for closers.
Ill lose sleep until I can correctly identify.
I can see it what you’re saying. So you think its the name of the piece + the name of the artist.
Something like “Trisha” “L. Kohler”
Antique Frog, do you think this is the entire piece, or do you think there was something it covered? When I research LUCARTHA KOHLER, I dont see any piece in this style.
And Ill send coffee to anyone who helps with a final ID!
Yeah, I can imagine the big pitfall to those kinds of stores are figuring out if its a “return” or an original item.
When we sold on Amazon FBA for a year, we sent in a lot of items that we thought were still NIB. Turns out there were a good number that were returns and had issues. We learned we should sell things as NIB anymore but used (because we didn’t buy directly from the manufacturer). But then we couldn’t ask for higher prices and our items didn’t sell as fast.
Thanks Timo. It’s not really her style from what I see, but I’ll do more research to see.
The estate was from Washington DC so not sure if it’d be an artist in the region.
This makes sense. A good phone is good for business.
Im just too hard on my phones doing renovations etc. I would not feel comfortable with a $1000 phone in my pocket. I broke one already this year 🙂
Is that with or without a contract?
Yep, they’re mainly an art auction so you picked the right one. We’ve sent plenty of photos to them over the years with a “no” or silence. Seems you found something they like!
Similar Dali Lithos sold on eBay for $400 to $1200, but through Heritage, I sold all 3 for a total of 5k (I think the net after fees was around 4k).
I dont think we ever heard the outcome of those prints. Congrats on that big sale!
Yeah, we each have the iPhone 7. Works well. They’re really cheap too. $100-$125 as you said.
We don’t have any specific phone seller we use. Need to buy one according to the service you use. And usually needs to be “unlocked”. There’s lot of sellers online who seem to buy old phones and fix up for sale.
Assume you’re on contract for a new iPhone SE for $250? Not a big deal, but I always try to avoid phone contracts. They know how to get their money!
It definitely is large enough to feel like a cloche or a bell jar. Maybe there was a piece that went inside that is now missing.
The big thing for me is the signature that seems very unique. I’ll keep searching!
Your link didn’t work, but here’s the story: https://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/Houston-doctor-steal-COVID-vaccine-charges-dropped-15897076.php
Yeah, I know everyone can get understandably upset when people “skip the line” but this seems like a pretty weird case where the doctor was just trying to use the vaccine on someone , or else it’d go bad.
Yeah, we pretty good at research too, but I don’t even know how to describe this piece. “empty dome glass sculpture” 🙂
This was our first thought, but I cant find any images online of a similar piece. Usually Scandinavian glass is really chunky.
Plus, this has a specific artist’s signature.
