Sales are continue to be a bit sluggish BUT this week was rescued by 2 high dollar sales. My gut tells me is that people are still willing to spend, but impulse buying isn’t happening as much.
Yeah it’s interesting, I haven’t found an other bookends like this that have an inscription,
I would list at $50.00 plus shipping with best offer turned on. If there are no other comps on eBay there may be someone who has been looking for that since 2013.
And Agree with Temudgin – make sure to mention the dog breed.
My sales pattern followed a similar one to Jay & Ryanne. All sales came to a screeching halt around the end of the previous week and then started to rebound on Thursday.
From Monday to Thursday, I was out of town and had my store set to time away. I had attributed the dip in sales to “the algorithm not favoring time away.” Which, of course, was just a bit of head cannon. Who on earth knows why sales pick up and slow down.
JKL – Just Keep Listing. It’s all you can do.

I am not panicking just wondering if others were experiencing the same thing.
I almost tossed these old newspapers in the trash the other day. Because you know, old newspapers… and they sold within in 24 hours.
I am proud to report April, 2022 was my best month on record (over 5k in net profit). Like Craig Rex I am listing every day. However, to borrow a phrase from Jay & Ryanne, I have become so focused on listed, packing, and shipping I fear I am making a prison for myself.
I will spend the next few weeks focusing on bringing some balance to my existence.
It’s a learning process, to be sure.

It’s been almost 3 years. But I sold the purse for $40.00 plus shipping!
These airedale figurines are the gift that just keeps giving. With exception of the week I sold the Salvador Dali prints, last week was my best week on eBay ever.

Number of items listed: 87My death pile has creeped up a bit. I need to get some serious listing done this week.
If you can lot them together into specific magazine you might attract a buyer. For instance magazine of 5 Britney Spears albums or 5 show tunes albums or 5 Hair metal groups.
Get creative, everything is related somehow.

04/25/2022 at 9:13 am in reply to: all my iPhone photos are HEIC how to change them for ebay? #96027There is no longer a need for an additional app. There is a shortcut in the finder.
From the finder window-
Right click on the photos (you can select more than one at a time)
Select from the bottom of the pull down menu QUICK ACTIONS > CONVERT IMAGE
Then select JPEG Actual Size. That should do it.
What a week! One of my best ever. I put my nose to the grindstone and listed over 200 items from the death pile. Ironically when I was getting sick of the work, I took inspiration from the work ethic of the Daily refinement dude. Oops.

Number of items listed: 200It’s tempting to believe that I somehow goosed the algorithm by adding so many new items, but the reality is I listed things people wanted. $623.00 worth of sales came from items that sold between 1 and 3 days from the time of listing.
These sales were primarily from the Airedale Colletictibles lot and Vintage Kodak Transparencies lot.
While the death pile remains daunting, the Airedales and Kodak Transparencies are all listed. Now that the cream has been skimmed from the top, I expect to see a drop in sales this week (unless I somehow find a way to post another 200 items that people want).
ABL! (Always Be Listing)
Ah that makes sense. I has thinking it was some sort of rune. But yeah Ichthys and initals makes more sense.
