Thanks!
I have some friends who could help. Do you mind if I post the photo in my facebook feed?
I too may be jinxing myself, but I have never had a problem with GSP. Like @sonia said. My job is to get the order to Kentucky, after that it’s not my problem. I have had a few items, damaged in transit or by customs and in each instance, GSP automatically refunded both myself and the buyer.
When a country closes its borders due to CO-VID (or any other reason) GSP stops offering service to that country.
The only real annoyance I have found is when a country is temporarily suspended from GSP your shipping policy is not automatically updated.
For example, for a time (may still be going on) GSP would not deliver to Brazil. Instead of pulling my listing from Ebay Brazil, the item was still available. A customer purchased the item and then kept asking me to send them the shipping charges. Once I figured out what was happening, I canceled the sale and used the “problem with customers address” option. This has happened 3 or 4 times during the last year, and I have never received a ding, against my Seller Level Metrics.
I feel like it is FINALLY the holiday season. My sales have really picked up this week. Still not selling high dollar items but plenty of stuff in the mid range (around $20.00-$35.00)
The fanciest tool you need is a good sharp box cutter, then it’s all about practice. When I first started taking shipping seriously I spent ALOT of time cutting things down, getting frustrated and starting over. But the more stuff you pack, the more you learn how to do it right.

One point of clarification, I think you CAN get away with using a flat rate priority box as a non-flat rate as long as you:
- Cover all references to flat rate on the box
- Purchase Priority Mail service
You can’t use a priority mail box for first class or media mail. Sometimes I have been in a pinch and used a flat rate box instead of a standard box. But again, you must purchase priority postage.

Thanks!

Can someone (who isn’t me) check to see if this link brings you to a coupon?
11/19/2020 at 11:25 am in reply to: ebay Partner network (Affiliate Program) QR Code Now Available #83567I am very confused. I just tried to make a codeless coupon for 10% off on a select number of categories. How is this different than just a 10% of sale? I thought I would receive a link or some other code that would allow me to specifically send the discount to an individual. Is this discount going to apply to people who come to my listings organically?

Thanks for the tip on QR codes, I can going to start packaging targeted code-less coupons with my sales. I’ll keep ya ll posted.

Yes my sales have taken a nasty hit these last few weeks.
I think this is more about people’s unemployment running out, than it is about uncertainly (although probably a combination of the 2). Until there is another stimulus package, I think we are going to continue to see slow sales.
Yeah they do look like nipple rings too but I am just not seeing how they would have ended up in grandma’s Jewelry box. I think they may have started off as key chains in the 60s / 70s and then been adapted by punks in the 80’s. just a theory.
This should be a fun rabbit hole to tumble down.
11/13/2020 at 8:57 am in reply to: Listing Photos Reverting To Original Pre-Edited Condition & More. #83401You should call eBay about those $4.00 charges. Everyone there knows what nonsense they are. I have accidentally check the box on more than one occasion, and each time I call they say “we don’t normally don’t do this, but we will give you a one time courtesy credit”.
