I wish I had the same postal worker to give them a present to get a relationship and maybe get consistent tracking scanning. There seems to always be a different new person. Sometimes there is the same person for a few weeks, but then it changes. The people that have been there for a few weeks were great about scanning, but the see them only once contract employees sometimes don’t scan. And this month, with the holidays, it seems to be a different person every day that I check (sometimes I’m home and I step out to beg for a tracking scan or we have Ring so sometimes I look at the video).
Yikes–that sounds very tedious. I was hoping there was a shortcut. I haven’t decided whether to try out Poshmark–I still have death piles to be listed on eBay. It is tough to decide where to spend time.
How are you downloading photos that were taken using eBay app? I know a 3rd party software is needed to do this in bulk but it sounds as if you and Ryanne are able to download photos from individual listings? Thanks for any tips

For some reason I had a setting that allowed payment for combined shipping to be sent up to 30 days. When I lowered this to 3 days, then the drop down for unpaid item showed up. But the least amount of days was 4 days.

After listening to the caller on unpaid item assistant, I was inspired to go look into it. But when I click the radio button that I want Unpaid Item Assistant to open and close cases on my behalf, right underneath it says ” Open a case if payment hasn’t been received after 32 days.”
I don’t want the assistant to wait 32 days. And there isn’t a place to change this timing on the unpaid assistant page. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help
I had an issue several months ago where when I created new listings, randomly some would duplicate. When this happened, sometimes eBay would flag it as a duplicate listing and send me a warning not to create duplicate listings (even though it was their glitch). Also, I noticed that the pop up window that shows up right after creating a listing would have the title repeated twice in the pop up without a space in between.
I called eBay about it and couldn’t get any help or even an acknowledgement of the glitch.
Now I try to at least scan the pop up windows after creating a listing or look at newly created listings to make sure no duplicates show up.
The Samsonite instructions have you use a flashlight and check for a notch on the lock. So you aren’t just randomly trying codes–you can find the combo by looking at the lock and lining up notches.
I followed the directions in a youtube video to open a Samsonite briefcase. There probably is a similar video on youtube for other brands.
It’s not totally clear but I think this may only be in the case where you have free shipping:
“Accept the return – The buyer will send the item back to you for a full refund – depending on your returns policy, this may or may not include the original shipping costs. If you offered free shipping because you included shipping costs in the listing price, you’ll need to refund the buyer the full amount that they paid. You can’t deduct the original shipping costs from any refund amount.”
I think the last sentence is still clarifying the previous sentence where the seller was offering free shipping.
It would be nice if eBay would write rules clearly.

I download the label and then once it is downloaded, hit the print button, then there is a radio button to resize. You have to go to the print screen to have this option.
thanks for all of the input. I’m going to wait to hear from the buyer at least for a few days then I need to decide if I want to reach out to them.
10/10/2018 at 4:26 pm in reply to: Promoted Listings – Seller Beware… Ad Fees, Cancellations, Credits #49962I found that while the canceled promoted listing fee wasn’t credited right away, it did get credited on the next month’s invoice. The first time this happened, I called in a waited to get the credit issued. The next time, I read through posts on the ebay message board and read that it would be credited on the next invoice so decided to try that rather than an hour long wait calling eBay and sure enough, it worked.
