Wow–I didn’t know this existed. Thank you!!!! I was just scrolling through all of the related listings on replacements.com and finding no exact matches but I didn’t know I could upload a photo for identification. Thank you very much!
Yes, on the shipping page, there is a choice (radio button) to select paying for shipping from either managed payments balance or paypal
Yes, this is happening to me also. Very annoying
Hi–I have a credit card as my default on Paypal so paying through Paypal has shipping charged to credit card. Just like before managed payments. As long as your Paypal account has no balance.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll try re-arranging my process also as you describe to accommodate this
Received the e-mail but no associated coupon on both of my eBay accounts. One was started in 2001 and the other in 2003. I’ve seen reports on other sites that some people with more recent accounts received the coupon so it may be random and not necessarily by account age.
I haven’t seen this yet. I joined around 2002-2004–I’m not sure where to check the exact date
FYI–this still doesn’t work so I talked to eBay and the representative said this was a known IT issue that is being worked on. No time estimate for it to fix. The representative suggested communicating with buyer and ending the listing and re-listing at the offer price. So I’ve reached out to the buyer.
Thank you very much!!!
My understanding is that the $1000 shouldn’t need to be paid back. The $1000 grant is just showing up in many people’s bank accounts without any communication about it (as long as the box was checked in the initial application). And if you qualified for a loan, you should have qualified for the grant (as long as the box was checked) so the initial $1000 should be forgiven
I like how eBay e-mails a copy of the chat transcript
On the vacation settings, you need to check the box that says something like make my listings unavailable for purchase. Then vacation mode works like you’d expect.
If you can live without the sales for your vacation time and don’t want to do the handling time (this has been a pain to do) or have to worry about contacting customers to make sure they understand long handling time, then vacation setting is useful.
I’ve done both depending on the circumstances of what I need the time off for. During surgery and recovery–I didn’t want to have any eBay worries so vacation mode (with the check box to make listings unavailable) was the best option for me.

Doublythumbs–thank you. This does come apart when I went and tried harder. And lo and behold, the stem between them is hollow so it looks like a person can use either of the two bowls with the stem. They were tightly connected so I thought it was solidly connected so thanks for giving me the advice to try to dis-assemble. I’m still not sure what to title this but at least now I know how it works 🙂

I’m not going to get into politics here–people can google this person’s background on their own and the calls for Post Office changes from who he supports. I’ve still been having good service from the Post Office as usual and consider the rates good for the service received. I am hoping this continues but now a little worried.
