Hello Mike,
The forum has been created and your search notes have been included.
Thank you.Hello MDC Galleries,
I remembered that each one of us has a profile page which keeps track of the forums we start (called Topics Started) and the ones we respond to (called Replies Created). With that in mind, I think it would be easier for members to simply link to your profile page and then choose what threads they wish to read through instead of trying to put everything in one forum posting which can be overwhelming. In order to make it easy for members, I am simply going to start a forum on SL titledSelling Art under the main Selling on Ebay forum with the following note.
One of the SL members – MDC Galleries- has provided extensive art details which may be of benefit to you in selling art. Please click on the this member’s profile link below in order to be able to view the Topics Started and Replies created.

Mike, please let me know if this works for you. If you would like to be the one to create it, that would be fine too. Thank you.
Oh. I think my wording was not clear. I did not want to bring anything over to ebay. I wanted to organize here for the SL members to make your knowledge easy to access for all of us SL participants. That is what I meant by creating a thread called Selling Art under the Selling on Ebay main forum thread which currently exists here on SL. I did not want to take it off of SL. I simply wanted to find a way for the SL members to access your knowledge base by putting it in one thread area titled Selling Art under the Selling on Ebay forum here on SL. This way, if any of us SL members needed a reference point we could just type something like Art in the SL search bar and have it come up instead of having to search through threads to find info about selling art.

Many of the pictures available are of ornaments standing up or hanging up. If you could provide a picture of the ornament standing or hanging up, it would help with the search.
This looks very close in nature.

This is the specific one on that page I was referring to.

Hello MDC Galleries,
I think many of us have found your posts on art to be very beneficial and informative. I was wondering if you would be okay with me copying all of your posts about art into one thread titled Selling Art under the main Selling on eBay forum so that anyone who has questions and/or would simply like to learn more about selling art would be able to easily find your posts.
Would you have a picture you could share of the monster brand Item?
Some key words that might help are apocalypse man/warrior figure statue sculpture. I can not find this exact one but found images similar in nature. If it is apocalypse in nature, there is a whole apocalypse culture/movement. You may want to put this on auction with a high starting price. If it does not sell the first time, you may want to put it up again. There are people who collect this kind of art. In addition, there are some wire art pieces on Ebay.
I am not sure if it is a reflection, but it looks like the artist may have put the initials on the bottom left outside in the center. Here are two links that may be of benefit

Bottles from certain name brand companies actually go for money. If you could provide a picture of the bottle standing up and one with the picture you have above against a material with some kind of color, it would help with being able to see it clearer and therefore being able to do a google reverse search.
In watching this video, it appears that either the lady had a sudden bathroom emergency and for whatever reason could not wait to get to a bathroom or was trying to make a statement by literally pooping in the community in front of the house. It does not appear that there was a cultural aspect to it as I can not think of any culture in which pooping in the street is a normal practice.
12/03/2017 at 11:25 pm in reply to: Buyer Opened a Dispute on Paypal- "Item not as Described." #27986It will be important to hear from more experienced sellers as you move forward, but I want to offer:
1st – do not let this rattle you.
2nd – try to distance yourself emotionally and just be matter of fact. This is just a business matter that has a process and you are going to follow process.
3rd – get all your facts in order – write them down or copy them to a Word document so you have everything in one place in case you need to speak with a PayPal rep at some point. Stay calm and focused if you do speak with a rep.
4th – get your pictures in order – look for any tell tale signs on the shoes in the pictures that shows the shoes are legit. You may want to do a little research. Look at other similar shoes sold online and in stores. Look for tell tale signs on those shoes that allow them to be sold under that name.
5th- It is my understanding that sometimes PayPal favors buyers because that is there way of doing business which means it has nothing to do with you. This may mean that you wind up losing your money, but remember that there is an appeal process. Take some time to read up on PayPal Policies using what they provide on their site.It is really questionable as to why she waited so long on such a big purchase. It is also questionable that she tried to hold feedback over your head if you did not do what she wanted and then she went ahead with her threat and posted negative feedback. Who knows what her motives are. Focus on you. Keep calm and keep moving forward. Go list and then list some more. What ever her motives, if she is trying to pull one over, that will be on her ultimately to feel the effects of. You just focus on you moving forward and making sales.

Active content is any form of non-standard text that’s in listing descriptions to provide additional functionality, such as videos, animations, or sound. Examples of active content include JavaScript, Flash, and plug-ins. Active content can cause listings to display slowly on the page and in some cases display incorrectly when viewing them on mobile devices.
To improve the shopping experience for everyone on eBay, we’ll block the use of active content starting in June 2017. We recommend removing active content from your listings now to help make sure they won’t be affected.
Please follow these steps to determine if your listings contain active content.-

It’s a wallet that I bought for 4 dollars and if real could sell for over a hundred. I am seeing that I am going to have to put some time into this, so I am going to have set it aside and go back in order to focus on getting other stuff listed. Oh, how wonderful it would be if there wasn’t such a strong black market with so many knock offs. Then we could just list an item at face value with the appropriate value price.
I have been doing a little research – it may be the real deal. I am specifically looking for markers on it that show its legitimacy. In addition, to checking ebay, I went to the company’s website and found something very similar. Now, I am just trying to track down this exact one.
Thought I would be better safe than sorry, so I called ebay to see if they had someone who could help me. I thought if there was someone there who could help me authenticate it, if it got called into question by a buyer, ebay will have already put it through the authentification process. Turns out, they have an authentification team who only checks items once they have been listed and not before. That doesn’t make sense. If their team can verify once it is in the public domain and may have been flagged as a problem (which can cause it to be pulled and the seller’s selling rights to be limited or revoked), why not have a team that checks before in order to avoid the drama and chaos?
Thank you Jay.
That is very helpful.
I was surprised at my find at a thrift so I am being extra careful. If it is real, the only thing I think is that someone must have just been cleaning out there closets while creating a donation pile. -
