Happy to hear that everything worked out well.
As an FYI, for anyone that absolutely doesn’t want to take a chance by going through with the second sale when someone circumvents your BBL by using a different ID, the one time it happened to me, a quick call to Ebay took care of it. Ebay canceled the sale and told me they’d prevent the buyer from leaving feedback. This was several years ago, though.
Best way, of course, is to have friends and family with different size feet at your beck and call to try on shoes.
Aside from that, the next thing I do is what Ryanne suggested.
SAS style names are really easy to find out from their website. I’ve sold a gazillion pair of SAS shoes, so if you give me the style name and insole length and width measurements, I might be able to help you if I’ve sold that style in the past. Many of their styles have removable insoles which makes them especially easy to accurately measure.
Not K-Mart, but this was a great costume!
Paulo, so sorry to hear that you’re struggling with your health. Hope you see some improvement soon.
Mike, I’d absolutely call Ebay or PayPal about that and see if someone can credit you the coupon amount.
What kind of stuff do you have in your store?
I agree with Phil that pricing high with best offer is a great strategy for testing the market when you have something unusual or without a decent number of comps.
Personally, I really don’t understand the best offer strategy for run of the mill items and clothing, although I know many successful sellers use it.
Great sale, Liz! Thanks for sharing.
So sorry to hear about the trauma that went along with your accident. Glad that you’re feeling better. Have a great visit with your grandkids.

Money Spent on New Inventory This Week: $77.41
Number of items listed this week: 8Not included in the above figures is a Leroy Neiman signed print that I bought at Savers in June for $60 and sold on Friday (through Craigslist) for $300. It’s sailing-related, so I put it up on Craigslist for a couple of runs over the summer and then planned to post it again in the spring. Had to move it out of my dining room before Thanksgiving dinner and decided I’d give it another go in December as it might make a good gift. Happy I did. No fees. Yay!
Looking forward to listening to the podcast. Congrats on the necklace!
Happy New Year!
Hand crank cheese grater inserts.
Linda, I wouldn’t say that the item was reduced to $4 as a “courtesy”. It was listed for $5 or best offer. The seller accepted the offer.
In answer to your question “who knows what tone?”, Thrifty2 mentioned the word nicely when describing all three of the communications she sent to the seller.
If the buyer paid for Priority, I ship Priority, even if it turns out that it could’ve gone First Class. Although it’s stated as an estimate, people sometimes count on the delivery time frame Ebay shows them. If it turns out it was something the buyer needed in a timely manner, I wouldn’t want to defend using First Class instead of Priority because it saved ME money and I figured another day wouldn’t make a difference to the buyer.
Yay! Thank you!
Also loving the hover thing. Not sure if this is new or I just never noticed it before.
Hi, Becky.
I’ve only been here for half a year or so, but I enjoyed watching your sold videos when they were posted. I was so sorry to read about the sudden loss of your husband. Happy to see you here.
So Cal Joe, even if there’s no acceptance scan, as long as you uploaded the tracking info within your stated handling time and the package is scanned as delivered within the estimated delivery time frame, it still won’t count as late shipping.
Click on the link and scroll down to the “Determining On-Time Shipping” section.

Ebay multi-order shipping also gives you the option of generating a scan form.
My Post Office is only a little over a mile away so I always just take my packages there. Unless I only have one package, I always generate a scan form so they only have to do one scan. They keep hoping that at some point I’ll cross paths in there with another Ebay seller who ships 20-30 packages a day and doesn’t give them a scan form. They said they’ve mentioned it to him and he says that he can’t figure out how to do it. All you have to do is click a box, so all I can think of is that he prints each label separately, rather than using multi-order shipping.
