eBay can be a lot easier when you sell more expensive items.
I only listed 2 items today, one for $80 and another for $800.
Might take me a week to list that amount of $20 items. Thanks Geoff, I spoke with eBay today about it and I seemed to get the answer I was looking for, if I would get a negative FB they would most likely remove it as the return was a buyers remorse issue.
The buyer was pointing out that he had it less than 24 hours, didn’t even plug it in. I suggested that he try and sell the it himself and offered to let him use my photos, description and video, he declined even though he has some cheaper amps for sale.
My reasoning as I’m sure everyone else on here is that it was out of my store for a time and I have time, effort and materials into packing, although 240.00 is a hefty fee.No listing is all, I did sell one item on that day. You can also use messaging and print labels.
Slow week for me as well.

Worst is the Sansui amp for $1200, buyer says it doesn’t fit on his stand, oh well it will sell again but he doesn’t want to pay the 20% restocking fee and has sent it back already, can he still leave bad feed back if I don’t succumb to his request?I was sent to the corner for a day by eBay on Saturday, suspended selling account for listing cap gun caps like the one I sold last week. Apparently eBay considers the toy cap rolls a pyrotechnic device and they are banned, of course there are all sorts of them listed for sale.
After a couple of mine were taken down I decided I wouldn’t list anymore but I should of taken the others down as well.
Lesson learned. That’s correct, also if there is no number and the club head is large it’s a driver.

Taking it apart should be pretty straightforward, you may need to remove the volume and tuning knobs.
That should clean up nicely with just some vinegar an water.
Usually those types of plastic radios are often shipped with tubes in place without a problem but if you’re opening it up you may as well remove them for shipping. Take pictures before so you can tell the buyer which one go where.
The rattle could be just some piece of broken plastic, it could also be some dried up capacitor material.01/25/2018 at 1:31 pm in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Mushroom mugs, Car books, Lineman belt, Sansui amp, Columbia snow shoes, Native Barbie, Gun case #31293Holy cow!
I thought the mailbox you mentioned was one of those huge ones, this one is ordinary sized.
Good for you for asking for the moon, you got it!01/22/2018 at 11:19 am in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 344: Decluttering and Auction Cravings #30990Jan 14-20 2018

• Cost of items purchased this week $500The Sansui amp took less than a week, I priced it at $1500 but took a $1200 offer, usually I hold out for much longer but went for a quick sale due to last weeks low sales total.
I drove 3 1/2 hours through Iowa hitting small town thrifts on Saturday and came upon this tulip table and chair set, I’ve up graded by about a decade.
I can appreciate that tool sale.
Love to see a photo of your old Guilia Sypder.01/16/2018 at 3:41 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 343: Our Business = Little Things Every Day #30569A weak week.

-10 degree temps kept the attendance down and there was some very high end stereo equipment being offered plus it was on the second table of the day so I didn’t have to wait around for hours to bid on it.
Only one other bidder put up a fight but I used my bold bidding approach, the one where you don’t delay in upping the bid, no hesitation between bids and he dropped out quickly.
The table consisted of a Sansui G-8000 amp, a pair of Sansui speakers all in original boxes and a Teac Reel to Reel deck all for $250. I spoke with the auctioneers and they said they moved it out of an expensive home’s den where it had been since new and the boxes were in the attic.I’ve only watched the first 3 episodes of season 4 but I’ll watch the rest.
I really liked it when it first came out.Great story Julie. Lucky an errant cigarette didn’t light you up
like a candle. That might’ve got you more screen time.
I’m really having trouble getting into this season, the characters are becoming more and more unlikable, to me anyway.01/11/2018 at 3:50 pm in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Gear shift, Hats, MCM magazine ashtray stand, Knives, DVD Recorder, Cast Iron Kettle #30322I made it out of a speaker cabinet that I parted sold the drivers from. I attached some tapered legs to make it look more MCM.
It’s ok, we’re still friends.
On the Rolex watches, there are some very good fakes out there but mostly modern ones like Submariners, Presidents etc. If it’s an older oyster perpetual or doesn’t have a screw down crown it’s a good bet it authentic.
Easy fake identifiers are quartz movements or skeleton (see thru) backs. Take it to a jeweler/dealer, they’ll open the back and tell you right away. -
