Sorry, I keep the What sold videos as needing a
link to access as I still have what may be an unfounded fear of a previous buyer seeing his item and hearing the price I paid.08/10/2019 at 5:09 pm in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Clock radio, Microphone, Dual Turntable, Pana-Vue, Zippo wicks, Reel tapes, DVD VCR Combo #66190Thanks, looks like some nice equipment.
My son lives in Arvada, ironically he is up here this weekend visiting otherwise I would’ve sent him to go have a look.08/10/2019 at 9:01 am in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Clock radio, Microphone, Dual Turntable, Pana-Vue, Zippo wicks, Reel tapes, DVD VCR Combo #66164That’s the model, great buy.
The changer may still work but usually they are stiff or frozen from old dry grease, obviously it’s worth getting going.
The controls will probably need cleaning as well to get rid of the the scratchy noise when turning.
I have another one waiting for resurrection.08/09/2019 at 7:55 am in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Clock radio, Microphone, Dual Turntable, Pana-Vue, Zippo wicks, Reel tapes, DVD VCR Combo #66105Interesting sales.
I believe they call that ‘Gravel Art’.The appeal of FB Marketplace is the local sale, no shipping charges.
You could state shipping only but that would probably turn off local buyers not wanting to pay for shipping and hoping to examine the item before handing over the cash.
While perusing FB I rarely check out the small section of sellers who ship as they are non local and expensive.Every couple weeks I go out early on a Sunday morning box hunt, I have a route where I know I’ll find great boxes, some styrofoam sheets and occasionally some trash to resell.
Pet Smart is a good place for boxes and the styrofoam lids from the containers they ship fish with.Chrysler product vans are the best. I bought a 2004 in 2016, it now has 212k on it and it still runs great.
I took the seats out and use it for scavenging and hauling the dogs places.
When the lease is up on my SUV I’m going to be looking for a 2005+ Caravan with the stow n go seats.07/07/2019 at 3:40 pm in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Glass negatives, Harley boots, KLH Phonograph, Rain lamp #64586I think so, I would’ve charged $125-$150 as the sizing mechanism needed extra time to sort out and fix.
All the capacitors checked out ok but some shops may have wanted to change them out as a precaution and to pad the bill.Yes, they are all good until canceled or sold & get automatically relisted every 30 days.
For some reason they are being relisted for up to 60 days or some odd 30+ number of days.
A couple items I listed yesterday started at 31 days.On my active items page I’ve noticed several relisted items with over 50 days remaining, and when I look for recently listed items they are way down the page with 30-32 days remaining.
It’s only been happening the last couple of days and I see that some are back to being resisted for 30 days, all are good until sold.-

06/07/2019 at 6:55 am in reply to: Ship bare metal tool, no box, with "flying tag" type label #63078That’s a good idea, just sandwich it between 2 cardboard flats, tape it up and it’s good to go without much added weight.
Toughen up Julie :).
I know it seems weird to go through peoples stuff but that’s why they’re having a sale, the worst is when they follow you around or watch every move and make a comment on every item you touched or even glanced at.
I always greet them with a Hi how are ya? it puts them at ease and makes you seem friendly and can also make for a better deal if you find stuff.
I know if I spend 2-3 hours going to garage sales I’ll eventually find $100-$200 worth of stuff or more.
Today was a good example, all the sales seemed like they were poor taste decorative items or baby clothes and VHS tapes, I ended the morning with some great stuff and the last house I went to I spotted under a table a Herman Miller fiberglass arm chair with no base for $1.00. Almost called it quits before all that.06/06/2019 at 3:47 pm in reply to: Ship bare metal tool, no box, with "flying tag" type label #63047I would think a buyer would be more comfortable receiving something even as rugged as a lug wrench in a box, or at least a poly mailer.
Those flying tags would be very susceptible to falling off and then your left with nothing.
Tires or rims on the other hand would save a lot of weight without a box and the tag is somewhat protected if it’s attached to the lug hole.-

Too bad you can’t fill in the item condition field on IOS app.
Having thrifts stores close is great for checking daily.
I sold one of those lava lamps in April, it’s called a Starship.
