@CYC – I actually do have an accountant. But she is not a bookkeeper, so I have a long list of numbers to figure out that she asks me to provide, and that takes a bit of work on my end (though using GoDaddy bookkeeping helps a lot, despite having to stay on top of all the little issues that keep cropping up). She asks for all my 1099 forms, so it took a bit of head scratching before I could explain to her why I didn’t get one.
The first time I did ebay taxes was indeed daunting, so good luck! Feel free to ask questions here (with the caveat that the answers you receive will not be from accountants).
Why not use calculated shipping?
For questions, there is a way to mark them as answered, even if you haven’t answered them. Had you tried that?
oh, I see that now. Thanks Lauren!
Hopefully this is easier to read:
Blocked Buyer List
Set up a list of buyers who will no longer be able to bid on or purchase your listings. The list will apply to all your items. You can add or delete buyers at any time.Block buyers from your listings
If you don’t wish to sell to certain eBay members, you can put them on your blocked list. Members on that list will be unable to bid, buy or make an offer on any of your listings until you remove them from the list. You can block up to 5000 User IDs.“Buyer is already on my block list, so I’m assuming he can’t respond to me,”
If you look closely at what it says in the UI for the block list (I only just did this recently, after years of using this feature), it just says that the blocked buyers can’t buy from you anymore. It doesn’t say anything about blocking their ability to send you messages.

</div>Thanks Retro – I will give that one a look. I was hoping you might chime in. 🙂
I am now finally seeing the return shipping fees from early February in my latest ebay invoice. I had been hoping that somehow ebay seller protections had kicked in and maybe they hadn’t charged me since I couldn’t see them – lol. I’m going to assume that this annoyance of not seeing the return shipping fees immediately (so I can subtract them from the refund) is going to be temporary given that ebay is in the process of eliminating the monthly invoice. Fingers crossed.
In my experience, giving unsolicited advice/criticism is just a thing many humans do – online and IRL. Luckily it’s helpful sometimes. Like the time I thought the DC clothing logo was Dolce and Gabbana.
Thanks Ryanne!
After researching some more I’m considering getting one of the three Nutri Ninja models, so if anyone has any experience with those, I’d love to hear it.
Lol. I’m not sure my little town will get a self-service kiosk in my lifetime – unless they close the branch altogether. I would be thrilled if we could get a package drop off chute/box – also not going to happen. But that’s totally okay – I love my little PO!
This happened to me once. I informed the buyer of the issue and told them that I would be happy to ship it out to a corrected address once they paid me for the new shipping label via paypal, and they did so.

On this one site it seems to just be called “top and bottom rod pocket cafe curtain”
Select “cafe curtains” on this page and then scroll down:
