Ice cream time!
08/01/2018 at 11:54 am in reply to: Item Specifics 101: How to customize specifics for unique items? #46625Thank you TSatt. If I make a brand new listing not from a template, I have to click on mobile friendly checker. Usually I forget to do it but there is a bulk way of editing all your listings, which I did once.

T-Satt, add to your list for Ebay Open 2019: Why??????? do sellers have to manually make listings mobile friendly? Why is it not just part of each listing.
08/01/2018 at 10:57 am in reply to: Item Specifics 101: How to customize specifics for unique items? #46614Thank you! Well you should work for ebay because customer service had to “submit a ticket” or something like that because the could not answer why it won’t save. And I was told cannot rearrange fields but they would recommend that to the tech team.

Q: I noticed that you left the ” on the measurement in the title. I was under the impression that special characters are now a no-no. Your thoughts?

Amatino & Mike @ MDC would you be willing to share a link to an item(s) of yours so that I can see how you do your item specifics on hard goods only. I understand clothes, that is simple. I am more interested in seeing a listing such as you described for unique items.
Thank you again 1,0000 X
Copy that on Keto, I don’t do ice cream any more either!
I am no pro, but my thought is that you go ahead and refund the item only, not the shipping, relist at same price as originally or slightly less if there are many like it listed, list as used with only that minor wear as you described it.
Then have some ice cream and move on!
So I see there are SOME salt and pepper shakers worth their salt.
I don’t have scientific evidence but I can say that in my opinion based on what I see coming up on my watched listings, I believe that relisting and/or selling similar does make a difference. Not in sales perhaps but after selling similar or relisting I can definitely see old items coming up on my watched items that were not watched before or that used to be watched and then dropped off and now again being watched.
ChristineR @ #44840 (above) thanks to your good advice and examples I picked up a part of a book series at a rummage sale this weekend. I listed them and they sold immediately! Here is the link https://www.ebay.com/itm/163174957304?ViewItem=&item=163174957304
