Ready for another glitch to deal with. C’mon, your day isn’t complete without a new challenge.
All my item specifics are gone from my templates. And if I try to sell a similar item from another seller? Those item specifics are gone too. No boxes to fill with data. Just all create your own item specifics.
I’m ready to tear my hair out. Is it too early for wine?

I checked a few of my listings and yes the item specifics are all gone on certain categories. Looks like they have disappeared on mostly my men’s shirts category.

I can see that if I’m on eBay directly, that my Item Specifics are gone from my templates for shirts, but are there for Jeans and Suits.
Looks like our Listings are not affected. I checked some current listings for shirts and our Item Specifics are there. Maybe because we relist through SixBit?

I looked through the preview.
Yep, I can confirm what you said. When I preview, they are there. If I check edit, they are all stripped out.
So glad I have SixBit…
I looked at the recent relists from SixBit, and everything is there. We are still going without an issue.

Definitely an issue with Mens Shirts. I’m listing a Lacoste Live Polo and was checking Completeds: They’ve nearly all been lumped in with Casual Button-Downs.
At the listing editor level, the Item Specifics drop down menus have all gone missing for the Polo and Casual Button-Down categories. Also, for this item, Preview Mode does NOT reveal any Item Specifics.
Should make things interesting for Potential Customers…

FWIW, these issues may stem from eBay’s rejigging of some of the catalog categories…

I did some shopping to see what buyers were seeing in mens casual shirts and saw this. Is this what ebay is intending or a glitch? Description and item specifics showing up in the search results. This is on every listing not just people who paid for subtitles

Yeah, I saw the new “Casual Button Down Shirts” earlier today, figured that is the issue. I notice that “Sport Coats” is now combined with “Suits and Suit Separates”.
Downside on one listing, the “Suits and Suit Separates” is requiring a Waist Item Specific…but that is on pants, not Sport Coats. So one of my Sport Coats won’t list…
Sheesh…

Every “fix” breaks something else temporarily when it comes to eBay.

FYI – I talked with eBay Concierge, and yeah, they dropped the ball on the requirement for a Waist Size on a Sport Coat. They merged the category and forgot that you don’t HAVE a waist size for a Sport Coat (you did for Suits, hence the issue when they merged).
He confirmed and was with me when we developed the workaround – Add “N/A” to the listing when it is a Sport Coat. So anyone else that has this, that is the official work around.

Perfect timing. I had 16 sport coats scheduled to go out.
Mass edited on SixBit to add the N/A in Waist size. Fixed that issue.
Now for eBay to fix it on their end…
