The FAQ is sort of interesting, http://its5dollars.com/faq/
It looks like they only restock on Sat and Sun, with prices dropping then Mon-Fri.
Raffle drawing for entry for those lined up at opening time.
Yesterday was a full moon, makes people crazy, lol.
I also have had several very low offers in the past few days, and I don’t have the Make Offer option on very many of my listings. What I do when this happens is make one reasonable counter offer, if they come back with another lowball offer I just ignore it.
I don’t mind an initial lowball offer, I do that myself sometimes just in case it works, but then I’m reasonable if they make a reasonable counter.
I don’t have any stats on this, but in the past, it seemed those super lowball buyers were the hardest to please if they did complete the sale.
09/13/2019 at 5:00 pm in reply to: In preparation for Managed payments…best points card for business expenses? #67774I don’t know for sure what I am going to do when I have to switch to MP. I’ve been using my PayPal debit card for my shipping charges and eBay fees, I get 1% back on that. That’s not going to work when the money stops flowing into my PayPal account, so I will probably shop for a credit card at that time and compare to the cards I have now (0 balance on those).

When I was in the same situation we bought cellular blinds, then when we could afford curtains the blinds remained on some of the windows to use when needed. I think we got those from blinds.com for about $10 per window.
Don’t forget scavenging possibilities, maybe garage sales?
On second thought, maybe an old man should stay out of this topic, lol.
I had an issue with Kevlar about a year ago but was able to reword to be OK. The concern was not making the description appear as if Kevlar (Dupont, I think) was the brand of the product, instead only a component. In the past, I’ve also been able to get by with using the TM symbol after the word. HTML code is ‘& tm ;’ (run together).
You have 30 days to cancel a label that you create. It is just tough to track return labels you create then cancel right before the 30 days if not returned.
I think many buyers have learned if they complain they can get a partial or full refund without return, easy money for a few minutes work and they don’t really see the harm (we are all rich businesses you know). I believe some of the return requests that are never received back are due to this.
You can opt in to having Shopify process credit cards or use your own cc processor. You can also set up PayPal payments, Amazon Payments, etc.
I just received another email from eBay urging me to sign up. There are a few interesting (to me) changes, including an option for weekly deposits. I’m still going to wait until the program changes settle down a bit, I expect they will extend the offer to waive fees if the signup progress remains slow.
New features include multiple refunds on a single order and new Finances API
Dear Seller:
Based on our review of your account, the features and tools you use on eBay are compatible with managed payments, eBay’s simplified seller experience to sell and get paid. Please visit ebay.com/paymentsregistration to register and benefit from the new payments experience early.
Managed payments will be part of how sellers will run their business on eBay, and all sellers will progressively be enabled. Sellers who have joined report high satisfaction and recommend it to other sellers1.
Managed payments delivers a more streamlined experience for both buyers and sellers on eBay. Buyers have more ways to pay with credit, debit and gift cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and PayPal Credit. Sellers have one place to sell and get paid, with payouts automatically deposited to their bank account. Soon, we will offer the ability to change the payout frequency from daily to weekly, if desired.
New features that are already available include a single unique number to reconcile from order to payout, and allow sellers to issue full or partial buyer refunds, directly on eBay or via a third-party platform. Sellers can now also issue more than one refund per order in different sessions, up to the full order amount. Those who integrate using eBay APIs can update their integrations with the newly launched Finances API to view their account activity and payout information.
Most sellers on managed payments can expect to see savings compared to their current payments processing fees. Further, the per listing payments fee is waived through September 30, 2019. Sellers can use our fee calculator to see what this means for their costs. See further details, and register for managed payments at ebay.com/paymentsregistration.
On Shopify, each “store” has its own distinct set of web pages (website), the various stores hosted on Shopify are not interconnected. You can set up a store using a domain name that you own, or just use the free website, www.yourstorename.myshopify.com. They have lots of templates to use for store design and many add-ons available, some are free and some charge a fee.
I’ve seen some disturbing ads on Facebook lately for stores using the myshopify.com subdomain, selling things like 8×10 garden sheds for $125 with free shipping. There is no way that can’t be a scam, and if Shopify doesn’t police this situation it is going to hurt their reputation I would think.
I wouldn’t stay away from Shopify because of the scam stores, but purchase a domain name instead of using the myshopify sub-domain to avoid being tainted if those aren’t cleaned up soon.

FWIW, discussion on Amazon seller forums last year for the same brand and letter.
https://sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/t/a-seller-requests-to-remove-their-products/400089This is a problem with more and more brand owners try to restrict selling to authorized dealers only. If the letter looks legit, company letterhead, envelope, etc. it probably is.
If you are selling these as New then their next step is likely to file a VERO complaint with eBay. However, the consensus for this situation on various forums is that if you sell them as Used then there is no valid VERO complaint that can be made. That doesn’t mean they won’t still try or that you won’t still get a VERO takedown, but you could probably defend that as selling used. But, I’m not a lawyer and free advice can sometimes only be worth what you pay for it.
If it were me, I would take down the listings, write back thanking them for giving you the opportunity to correct this and stating you will no longer sell their products on eBay as new, then relist as used-like new.
My 2¢
All of my items have promoted listing enabled. When I look at my Paid & shipped page, about 1/3 show the tag “Sold via promoted listings”.
It just hit me today that if eBay is only going to show my Promoted listings, I will be paying the fee on all sales. While it is good to eliminate the duplicates, the net for eBay is increased fees, over $100 for August in my case.
Will I sell more because of the lack of duplicates? Hard to ever know that for sure.
09/07/2019 at 12:02 pm in reply to: MORE EBAY SHIPPING SUPPLY OPTIONS PLUS EASY WAY TO FIND DISCOUNT CODE #67509I knew the Anchor store would get 150, I didn’t anticipate that I would get those in addition to the 50 I already received for Premium, a total of 200 for the current quarter.
09/07/2019 at 9:42 am in reply to: MORE EBAY SHIPPING SUPPLY OPTIONS PLUS EASY WAY TO FIND DISCOUNT CODE #67499This is not a response to the question but a somewhat related note. I updated to an Anchor store this week and just noticed I have a new $150 coupon on top of the $50 coupon I already used for this quarter. Cha-ching! More eBay supplies.
