Just a random thought, does the city collect sales tax for selling those signs to NJ residents?

Wild guess, used with a potters wheel for making a vase.

Automobilia? A new word for me.
Probably the most profitable score I’ve made was at a bid sale I used to go to. One pallet was various boxes marked Freightliner, I put in a bid of $200 not for sure what I was getting. The next morning I found I had won that lot and I recall as I was driving in to pick up that and some other pallets I won, I was hoping it wasn’t going to turn out to be a mistake (wouldn’t be the first time, for sure).
When I went to list it there were 50 or so reefer trailer compressor replacement clutches that sold for over $100 each. Also, a box of 100 or so heater resistor boards that went for $25 each, as well as other assorted parts that sold well. I guess the total was around $10,000 in sales spread over 4 or 5 years.
I could use a few more scores like that.
Nice score, Temudgin!

Many car companies and brands have a GL model (if that is what the GL stands for), put emblem is fancier than most emblems. Could even be a dealer badge, it used to be common for them to attach a badge using drilled holes.
Welcome and happy selling.
I’m sure hope Indianapolis has cleaned up some from the last time I was there, probably 20 years ago now.
I also spent Jan & Feb of 1970 at Ft Ben, I do believe that is the coldest place I’ve ever stayed for that long. Brrr
I have always collected taxes for Missouri residents and have my tax ID information entered on both eBay and Amazon. Missouri is not one of the states with an economic nexus law (yet) so neither eBay or Amazon are collecting sales tax for that reason, however, Amazon does collect Missouri sales tax based on having a physical nexus due to their fulfillment warehouse in the state. But, they do not collect MO sales tax on my listings to MO customers which tells me that having my MO tax id on record overrides the required tax collection by Amazon.
I wonder if eBay is the same for states with economic nexus laws, if a seller has a tax id for that state does that override eBay collecting and remitting the tax?
I haven’t tried the Spark app. I have an old Bonanza account that hasn’t been used in over 5 years, but I’ve been thinking about selling there again. Back then sales were miserable and I was still syncing inventory manually, the sales just weren’t worth the ongoing effort. I’ve been using an inventory management service (ecomdash) and they can sync with Bonanza now. It’s just an issue of expected return for the hours available.
You will likely be disappointed in what you get when you complete the File Exchange download and see the results. It is only basic information but not the description. I never used it to archive listings, I don’t think the result includes item specifics either.
I think the people you are hearing this from are confusing File Exchange with the retired eBay Turbo Lister application.
Jay, File Exchange is still active, I use it for uploading listings about every day. I think you might be thinking of Turbo Lister which was retired a few years ago. It was a listing app that could also be used to archive listings.
File Exchange can download a list of Active Listings, but just the details like Quantity, Price, Title, etc. Not the listing description information. I don’t think this is what gfd_622 is looking for though and you can get about the same information download from the bulk editor.
Spark Lister from Bonanza looks interesting, free if you sign up for selling on Bonanza, https://www.bonanza.com/turbo_lister_alternative. They claim to be able to download and archive eBay listings. It’s a Beta program at this time. I don’t know anything about it from personal experience.
10/03/2019 at 11:04 pm in reply to: Interesting Promoted Listing "Trending Rate" Inconsistency #68558It’s not File Exchange, but a separate function starting from the PL dashboard page, https://pls.ebay.com/plsweb/dashboard. Create a new campaign button, Select listings in bulk, etc.
One weakness is you can’t add individual listings to the campaign from the active listings page, the promote button doesn’t show the bulk campaign as an option. I’m doing it every day or 2 at the same time I make any adjustments to PL rates.
I’m guessing eBay will trick out this process with some kind of interface to make it easier, but I’ve done so much of this kind of csv work its 2nd nature for me.
