When the Ebay tape first came out I didn’t like the quality and ended up selling it. That was a while back though.
I’m surpised at what type of items I’ve sold on Poshmark. My first sale was a vintage little girls dress. Some things I’ve had sitting on eBay for over a year. My average selling price is just $11 but a lot of these items I’d marked way down on ebay trying to get rid of themand they weren’t moving. I’ve sold 38 items since the middle of July. I haven’t purchased anything specifically to sell on Poshmark. Mostly it is all stuff I already had. My clothes rack is looking pretty empty these days which is great.
My best seller has been jeans. I’ve sold 6 pair. Five were Levis. I also love how when you create your price you instantly know what your net will be. This is so huge. No guessing. The same with offers. I instantly know what my net will be so I can go as low as possible without wondering if I’m still making a profit. No having to figure paypal fees, ebay fees, ebay store subscription. It’s very simple.
Edited to Add: I timed myself this morning and it took me 4 minutes to share my entire closet which has 99 items for sale. This was on my laptop. It takes longer on a phone. I usually share my closet in parts throughout the day and do the most sharing at night around 10 pm which is when I’ve found I get the most liked items.
I had something similar happen a few days ago where over half of my listings were not showing up. I called ebay and reported it. With mine it wasn’t just new listings.
I’ve been checking every day since then and haven’t noticed any discrepancies.
I like how you guys have done yours scavenger style better. Your homes are just as beautiful.
While I was on the phone with customer service the rep could see my listings while I could not. We determined she was on Chrome and I was on Safari. I had already checked on Chrome earlier and had the identical problem on Chrome. So I checked again while I was on the phone with her and the problem was gone on Chrome. Got off the phone and went outside for a 1/2 hour came back in and checked Safari again and everything was back.
So, over 1/2 of my store wasn’t visible on Safari for who knows how long. A bug that was fixed in the last hour? Or throttling?! I have to admit this kind of thing makes me wonder Jay!
No. Good idea but no. Most of my items are vintage and don’t have product identifiers.

Sonia I haven’t tried it but I’ve see people say magic eraser is good for cleaning the white rubber on athletic shoes

Ronsonol. It’s used in lighters. It does wonders for removing stickers from anything and does it without damaging the item underneath (like paper ephemera). It just dissolves the adhesive and it evaporates quickly.
baking soda for removing black marks from dinnerware, mugs etc
q-tips for cleaning nooks and crannies. on the gee gaws.
