I must have been remembering the Top Rated Seller credit. Thanks Sonia and Jay.
It looks boutiquey to me.
Keywords I’d use: sunflower, summer, boutique, art to wear
That’s a great tip about the Showrooms. Thanks! I’d never done that before.
Same thing happened to me. Missing and then came back.
Jay I think that is the case. Less competition. Plus a way to affect how high up you are in search, by sharing.
It started out all womens and then I think they added mens and childrens later so those markets are still growing. I’ve sold one childrens clothing and several mens t shirts. I haven’t had any bites on my mens hats or ties though.
It’s worth doing antarestar. I have been surprised by the items that have sold on Poshmark.
Jay I am listing the same items both places. Most of the items I’ve sold on Poshmark had been listed on eBay for a while. When I joined Poshmark I added them there. As I list new items to ebay I also cross post those to Poshmark.
I haven’t compared the net sales from Poshmark to ebay yet. I should do that. I’d guess that many of the things I’ve sold on Poshmark have sold below what I had listed them for on ebay. It’s really easy to make offers to buyers on Poshmark. All they have to do is like your listing. So in a case where it’s an item that has been sitting on ebay for a long time and not sold even when marked down I am willing to make pretty good offers on Poshmark as long as I’m covering my inventory cost and a bit of profit. I’m selling some things for under ten dollars. Lower than my

price on ebay but not necessarily lower than my ebay ‘sales’ prices. I might have something listed regular price on ebay for $15 and take $10 on Poshmark.
What I’m loving most though is that many of the items I’ve sold on Poshmark have been sitting on ebay for a year or more. I’ve only been on Poshmark since July but have sold these old items. It feels great to get rid of that old inventory.
I did a tally and since August 14 I’ve sold:
17 clothing / shoes and accessories on ebay
versus
34 clothing / shoes and accessories on poshmark
twice as many

What do your sons think of the biz? Do they have entrepreneurial aspirations?
Lately I’ve noticed that when I’m on websites (including Scavengerlife) that use Google Adsense I see ads for Poshmark listings including my own items. Has anyone else seen this?
I haven’t noticed ebay or etsy ads.
In the email you get from Poshmark with your shipping label there is a link in a gray box to instructions on getting a label upgrade.
The upgrades are different for each extra pound you go over the 5 lbs.
Example
6 lbs for $3.99
7 lbs for $7.98
8 lbs for $11.9710/22/2018 at 6:48 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 382: Treasure Hunting with a Fishnet #50576I can’t imagine being the only bidder at an auction. Sounds like an episode out of the twilight zone

The sound the tree made when it hit the ground!
10/09/2018 at 2:59 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 380: What Do Lifetime Sales Really Mean? #49878I don’t feel any pressure to pack things differently for etsy. I do them the same as I do for ebay. tissue or brown newsprint. bubble wrap. poly mailers or recycled boxes. I think the handmade sellers on etsy are more into the packaging.
Poshmark pushes to wrap pretty and even include free gifts. I just do my own thing and package my poshmark stuff same as ebay. no complaints so far.
