Thank you AdventureE. Good points. It doesn’t seem attached to anything except on the back but looks could be deceiving and I could damage it by removing the plastic.
Sounds like a wonderful trip. I love visiting gardens. I’ll bet you made a lot of good memories
Just guessing but I think it is a loom
I got an invite today for guaranteed delivery. It appeared as an ‘opt in’ button I think on my listings page. I thought they said it was going to roll out to everyone during May.
05/29/2018 at 10:21 am in reply to: Selling my vintage stuff on Etsy to diversify and pay less fees…Worth it or no #41183It depends. Etsy is a different animal than ebay or bonanza. If you are willing to put in time up front to learn how to create a good etsy listing it could be worth it. Besides lower selling fees you can also often ask more for the same item on etsy than on ebay because you have less competition for many things and shoppers on etsy don’t seem to shop around for best price.
The one big difference between ebay and etsy when creating an etsy listing is creating ‘tags’ (keyword phrases) and longer titles. There are plenty of resources both on the etsy forums and some posts I’ve made here that explain it. IMO if you don’t take the time to create proper etsy listings it is not worth listing there.
Jay I have seen sellers who think having a best offer pending a response pushes that item up in search
Thank you ChristineR for the video.I am going in and checking my pottery for missing item specifics and finding a few.
T-Satt how could it be automated when ebay doesn’t use tags and etsy does? Would you do your etsy listing first and then sync it to ebay?
thank you Mike for the description of how it works on WL
If you auto cross post from ebay to Etsy do you still put the tags in by hand? I can’t imagine that part being automated.
Never seen anything like it. It reminds me of cells in a petri dish under a microscope.
I google imaged wisconsin badger blue and found a couple of blue shirts. The “W” logo does look right on yours

Thanks Incompetent Picker! Now that I look closer the little piece on the one end looks like one of the valves on the instrument I used to play in high school. So amazing all the little clues. The picture itself probably isn’t worth much but it is fun to try and figure it out. Can you imagine someone in the future spending any time trying to figure out pictures of us today?? Now a picture is so commonplace.
If it has been passed down through generations of your family you KNOW it is authentic. I think that is pretty good providence. If a buyer gets it and think it is a fake the burden would be on them to return it or prove it.
Luftmentsh I think you are right. Good observations.
