Thanks for your perspective and what is in your yard sale pack! It will be interesting to see how it goes for us!

07/16/2021 at 3:09 pm in reply to: World’s Longest Garage Sale & What is your garage sale go-kit? #89712Magnet is a good reminder. I had mentioned that about 1 month ago to my wife and then promptly forgot! Ty @mycottage!
07/16/2021 at 12:23 pm in reply to: World’s Longest Garage Sale & What is your garage sale go-kit? #89710@sharyn, I remember it also, and couldn’t find it either. I do have stuff for bakelite determination, but not a black light flashlight. Just found and bought a cheap one online. Good for looking for unclean hotel rooms as well! Thanks!
The tattooed guy is from Dino Valley. See this link for him in his original set (2nd picture is close up):

The atv looks like it is from that series also. If you have Terapeak on ebay put this:
Chap Mei Animal Planet T Rex Dinosaur Figure Dino Valley Atv Toys R Us Exclusive
in the search and you’ll see a crappy picture of an atv that looks like yours. It is old and I can’t link through.
The other two guys are probably from this toy line but I can’t find them in a quick search.
07/09/2021 at 12:39 am in reply to: No more leaving Automatic Feedback since changing store…Bummer. #89600I was sad about this also @so-cal-joe but I’m loving the savings of the cheaper store, so I’m begrudgingly doing it manually about once a week. I have a similar-sized store as you. So it is isn’t too unmanageable.
Just 2nding @steven-s – I’ve always had it, never went away for me either. I put it in listings a lot as it can be the cheapest option, but then I often upgrade people to Priority because the price (with the ebay discount) is about the same that they paid.
04/27/2021 at 11:11 pm in reply to: ebay’s “Standard Envelope” Now Available for Postcards & More #87975Saw this and am excited. I don’t sell a ton of these categories (but some!). However I am hoping that they also open other categories like Patches and Stickers, those would be helpful to me.
If any one has a link for sturdy envelopes that fit the dimensions ebay laid out, and they have used with success, I’d be interested in buying a small amount to start with.
I did mine just now and received a confirmation email that still says they are charging an early-termination fee (see below). So I’d suggest everyone really look at next month’s invoice to make sure you haven’t been charged and if so, call. My subscriptions renewed in Feb so I think my early-termination fee would be about $200 for a premium store, so it can be significant!
From eBay’s confirmation email.
What you should know:
You can change your Store features or subscriptions when you manage your Store.
If you cancel or downgrade a yearly subscription before the last month of your subscription, you will be charged an early termination fee equal to one-third of the remaining value of your yearly subscription.
@ryanne when you did it, did it say you weren’t being charged a termination fee? Or are we to assume that is the case based on multiple reports? About to pull the downgrade also….
@amatino as @timo said, not new with this update but when managed payments started. So depending on when you opted into managed payments and had your first international sale should have been the first time it appeared.
I mentioned it in this fee breakdown from last May: https://www.scavengerlife.com/forums/topic/diving-into-the-new-managed-payment-fees/
My bottom line for the new managed payment fee structures (including the international fee) was:
We will definitely save money on domestic sales somewhere in the pennies to a $1 or so per transaction and that will be great.
But if you sell a lot on GSP (or privately international) you will be paying dollars more per transaction.
Looks like you are seeing that in your international sales.
04/01/2021 at 10:45 pm in reply to: UPDATE to Seller Update: eBay Now Waiving Early Termination Fees for US Stores #87187@mummers this is good to hear. I hope others report the same. I’m thinking of switching sometime this month myself.
03/30/2021 at 11:56 am in reply to: Reminder: 1st quarter shipping supplies coupon expires Wednesday #87145So I don’t start a new thread about a similar topic…. I know that the new coupon goes live April 1st. I, like Ryanne and Jay, am thinking about down grading (but for me from premium to basic). My coupon would go from $50/qtr to $25/qtr. Normally I’d use my coupon right away on the first but if I downgrade this month, I wonder if I’d get dinged for the $25? Feeling like I should downgrade first or wait and downgrade at the end of the month? Thoughts?
Why not just double it to 160? That is plenty to say what you want about a buyer/seller good or bad and not have it look like Ryanne’s gigantic paragraph!
I fear the extra characters will get abused more than be helpful at that size.
