Welcome! 2004? That’s awesome š
Not sure what exact one this is, but I just ran across similar ones. Mine were room diffusers/ air freshener things. Here’s what I’m comparing them to.

It would explain the hole on the bottom and the holes about halfway down the sides, but I’m not 100% sure they all serve the same purpose because yours have larger holes in them. Mine originally had like rocks in them that I’m assuming you put the oil on?
Good luck, she looks pretty!
Just an update to this- I am in the middle of upping all my prices. I’m going for 1.25% the highest BIN for the last year, accounting for a 20% off sale at all times and 5% promoted. I started last night and didn’t have any sales this morning, but kept working on it (I’m in the “G” listings now, working alphabetically) and just had some prints sell for $27 after having them listed for $15 literally two hours ago. Woohoo! Thanks team
Thanks everyone, especiall Mike!
I am way underselling myself. I used the zook example because it was the exact same thing I had so it made sense, but most of my items have less competition, which helps with the asking price.
Right now I only promote 2%. I’d love to promote at 5% and raise prices.
1.60x makes a lot of sense. Thanks Mike for the breakdown.
Looks like I’ll be upping all my prices tonight!

First, a comment RE: sending offers. So, when you send offers to people a couple times a day, I’ve noticed that half of them go to people that are watching my item, and the other half are going to what I assume are people that just look at items (whether to price their own, whatever). I had been looking at shelving a couple months ago and did NOT watch or save anything and was still recieving offers for about a week. You can see on the offer page where it says how many “interested buyers” are getting your offer. Sometimes, this number is higher than the amount of people that are watching.

Pretty good number of sales for me this week, but there were a ton of $10 items, which really drug down profit. Spent the first half of the week getting through the end of recovery from the surgery about 2 weeks ago now.
Yesterday was my last day at my boring retail job, and man am I stressed. I’m trying to keep the momentum to just get to work but I’m feeling a little frozen. My non-listed shelves are full, so tomorrow will be a full day of listing that I’m hoping to get a good chunk listed. Goal is to have 500 listings up by the end of the month, equalling about 13 items a day if I list for half the days left in the month.
A couple weeks ago I got approved for shipping for FB Marketplace. What I’ve noticed is that my number of FB sales have actually dropped, and I am having no in person sales. So, the new plan of action is to list my local pickup items from my business page rather than my personal account, and I’m hoping that they start showing up in search again. That being said, what I am selling on FB Marketplace is the same exact prices I charge on Ebay, but there’s no fees attached through the end of the year. So, less volume, but bigger $$.

Number of items listed this week: 4Had an emergancy surgery on Friday that’s kept me down for most of the week in preperation. Also decided to put in my two weeks at my boring retail job after my boss said that taking time off for said surgery might affect my job, so I only have 4 working days left until jumping into resale full time. Packed some FBA stuff, but in the chaos of surgery it’s sat in my car for the whole week. Looking forward to being able to get to work on Tuesday!
Thanks! They wrote back today that it was fine.
I appreciate it!
Thanks!
Yeah, it looks like Fedex would be the better choice for these guys.
Yup. That’s a lot of messages for Ebay buyers. I’d be weary.
When I try to explain buyer communication to people I usually put it down like this:
Amazon- strangers, no communication
Ebay- aquantinces, 2 messages max
Facebook- Best friends, entire biographies of information
I have a facebook page with a whopping 70 likes. I’d eventually like to move all my FB Marketplace listings to the page instead of my personal account, but I’m not sure how to go about making the switch other than the obvious one at a time method. I do post a couple times a week with hashtags. I don’t necessarily get sales from FB, but I do notice that my views rise on items that I post on FB, which I’m assuming bumps me up in search. These are all speculation, though.
Got the email, but no coupon.
Was reminded of my first Ebay flip- a cast iron Mickey Mouse pan. Paid $5, sold it for $20. Mailed it in a priority flat rate box wrapped in a blanket, lol. 7 years ago.

Number of items listed this week: 45Really slow week this week. Switched my sale last night from 10% off everything to 15% off items $20 or more, and no sale on under $20. Lots of FB Marketplace drama this week, people not showing up mostly, but thats the name of the game. Been talking about sending more things into Amazon and am putting my money where my mouth is and packing a box today with 30-35ish items. Sold an anniversery clock and although I tried my darnest (double boxed, plastic wrapped, and paper wrapped) the dome broke. It was the same price to buy just the dome that it was for the whole clock. Looking back, I should have parted it out, but oh well. Full refund, and a USPS claim, no big deal.
