I had no idea about heath teapots! That is crazy ROI. And free pendleton? Double win
Hey, $15 is $15
Listing stuff now. The toaster is toast (pun intended) so the office is being aired out and hopefully we have some jackpots with the rest of it, lol.
I feel like that was it, hopefully it’s just a last day of the month issue and not anything more major.
Going back to the original question:
I just saw that terapeak without a store subscription is $19.00. So, really for 2.95 more, you get access to 350 listings. So, if you’re already paying for terapeak and list 9 items (2.95 / .30 a listing) over your allotted free listings, it’s worth it.
Are you on a starter store yet? Or just doing the free 50 or so listings?
Depending on the # of listings you have, you can see where it makes more sense to pay per listing versus subscribe to a store.
A starter store is 4.95 for 250 listings now. So, thats the equivilent of paying 30 cents each for 16 listings. So, if you are 16 listings over your free listings, it makes sense to do a starter store.
On another thread we were talking about how starter stores and basic stores got the numbers of listings changed this month, and I was reminded that with a basic store you also get Terapeak for free and $25 of shipping credit for the supplies store every quarter.
So, for the value of $21.95, you get $6.25 worth of shipping supplies, Terapeak (I think it’s 16 by itself? correct me if I’m wrong) and 350 listings.
So, ignoring the shipping supplies, but not the terapeak since youre already paying for it, a basic store is 5.96 a month for basically listings. With a basic store, listings beyond your free ones are 0.25 cents each. 5.96 devided by 0.25 is 23 listings. So, to me, if you wanted to keep terapeak and needed at least 23 listings more than what you have free already, it’s worth it to get a basic store.
Now, looking forward, there are some cases where it makes more sense to pay for extra listings than to bump up to the next store. I’m not going to count shipping supplies in this, and just talk listings.
A premium store is 1,000 listings a month for 59.95, and the next step up is an Anchor store which is 10,000 listings for 299.95 a month (I know you get special things with anchor stores like an anchor support line, but let’s pretend that doesn’t matter and just talk listings)
So, paying 59.95 a month for 1000 listings equals about 5.9 cents a listing. Additional listings after the 1000 are 10 cents each
An anchor store is 299.95 a month for 10000 listings, or 2.9 cents a listing. Additional listings are 0.05 a listing.
So, in order to make the jump from Premium to Anchor is a $240 difference a month. With $240, you can buy 2400 additional listings for your premium store before you start paying more in additional listings than if you were to bump up.
So, if you have a store with 3400 listings or less and don’t consider the added values of an anchor store, it’s cheaper to just stay on premium. But, once you reach 3401 listings, it makes more sense to jump up to Anchor because any listing after that is cheaper with the anchor subscription than it is to buy listings for a premium subscription.
Hope this helps!
Nope, they were completely “free” listings.
Since this happened on 7/31 and I knew my store would reset the next day, I decided to leave everything in drafts for the night. Sure enough, once 8/1 rolled around, all the drafts were free to list again.
Not sure what the fluke was, but it solved itself so I’m not going to dig too far into it, lol.
I actually just usd terapeak for the first time today and loved it, and while posting I had forgotten about the shipping supplies credit.
I’m less bitter now, lol. Thanks for shining the light!
LOL,
We’re getting there. This month and next month is exponential growth, and by October we’ll be full fledged flipping. Gotta pay the bills somehow.

Items Sold: 2 (9 Including Good of FB Marketplace. Saved me this week)
Gross Sales: $37
Highest Price: $20- Guitar Pickup
Average Price: $18.5
Cost of Goods Sold: $0.50
Returns: 0
Costs of Goods Purchased this Week: $50
Number of New Items Listed this Week: 20Most of last week was still recovering from the whole wisdom teeth debacle. Sales were slow, I had my first damaged package issue, and overall just was clunky. Short term goal is to get up to $461 a week in profit between Ebay, Amazon, and FB Marketplace. I basically have until the first week of October to make it happen before bills start becoming an issue. This week between all three platforms netted $285, which was solid growth from the beginning of the month.
Also, I’m starting to pull back from my awful retail job! Not less hours (girl has to pay her bills) but I moved my shifts from open availability to 1pm-9pm and it looks like my schedule is going to be mostly 4pm-9pms about 5 days a week. Losing two hours, but gaining a much more doable schedule with the plan to be able to give it up completely some time next year.
So, shitty week. But better than not doing anything, and still dealing with post surgery I think it’s okay.

I went through a phase where I was really into Overhead projectors. Talk about franknboxing! They were bubble wrapped, double boxed. and had a little poke out for where the pipe inevitably didn’t fit the rest of the dimensions.
I don’t buy overhead projectors anymore.

Plan is to sort through it this week and whatever is really not ebay-worthy see what is Facebook-able and able to be lotted up.
07/26/2020 at 10:46 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 473: Does Insurance Make You An Adult? #79996Good old Facebook marketplace. It’s definitely not all that she has, but it’s a good start. She’s still living and is downsizing and boxed up 43 boxes of vintage stuff (homegoods, shoes, etc) and was asking $8 a box. I told her I’d get it all for $5 a box and she took it. Uhaul was more expensive than expected, thats the next stretch goal is a little trailer. I’ve only opened a few boxes so far (not cherry picking, just starting on one side and moving to the other) and nothing has beeen totally worthless. Not a lot of super high dollar items, but a lot of $15-$30 items so far. We’ll see how it goes once I get through more of it.
