What sold #13 flea market, thrift haul and some solds
https://youtu.be/VZQYPOWmca0@Craig I’m not sure. I believe they do make repros of some labels but these are vintage. I only did a quick Terapeak search and they’ve been going generally $10-20. I will ask more probably for the ones that have animals, cowboys etc. and maybe $20 for the standard fruit and floral types. I’ll also probably look and see what people are asking on Etsy. Our kitchen is all glass and cabinets or I’d frame a couple. I know this was popular a few years back but still good probably with Farmhouse style hanging on.
Love Charlie Harper art.
My favorite find was a lot of vintage produce crate labels that came from an estate clean out. paid about fifty cents apiece. Will probably take me forever and a day to get them listed as is this case with ephemera and flatware.
@workhorse I had this problem today as well. It won’t process my card.
44 last week for me for the spreadsheet.
@Mark I find the buyers on Mercari to be cheaper than those on Ebay generally and maybe also skewing younger. But I do feel like my items get seen over there and you can promote and keep it active for a while. I don’t crosspost but instead use Mercari for damaged and low dollar items or our used clothing and kids’ / teen items.
Yes it was that one. I also sold this Murano boat. https://www.ebay.com/itm/234682241767 So a great week for art glass. I found both of these in the case at Goodwill, which normally just has some in box junk and technology stuff. You know I’ve been checking that case ever since.

Number of items listed this week: 44 (Ebay and Mercari)Congrats! I’m also on an Ebay high with the best sales week ever for me. I pray that the highest dollar item does not get returned. There were significant scratches on the item that were fairly difficult to capture on camera, but it was a very desirable artist and I took a lowish best offer. In fact, 100% of these items sold on best offer. One of the items sold was a vase I bought for $2 around the corner from home at a junky garage sale, listed it and it sold like the next day for $40. I told my dad that is pretty addictive stuff. When I’m listing I picture myself spinning these cast offs into green on a spinning wheel. Should be able to do a good bit of listing this week.
I finally got around to doing sell similar. I cut it off at the end of 2021. It was super quick and easy but I should have and didn’t take the time to go in and fix up the listings yet and add cheaper USPS methods of shipping (parcel post). Good news: Ebay is reset my quantity on sell similar to the remaining quantity, so extra easy. After doing this I was able to make offers on some of these items to the new watchers so they definitely got refreshed. I sold just one of the items so far in the last few days. Unfortunately I will need to go in and fix my Pinterest boards, which I had recently started redoing.
I really need to get back to the piles. I did a few shopping runs this week. I have only one box of Christmas and it’s mostly listed now. I have a small amount of Thanksgiving I need to locate. One of the larger thrifts just put out Christmas already so I will check their sister store across town as a treat to myself this week. Have a great week.
@Julie I didn’t read the fine print either until I had listed the items. I don’t usually spend over $50 on an item but ended up using the coupon on a Pottery Batn duvet from an outlet seller. She wouldn’t ho down too much on her price and I had to use it quickly. Sorry you didn’t get to use yours! I hope they offer it again.
Ok for fun I purchased two items: a $12.99 queen size handmade quilt from Colorado and a small $24 oil painting from Wisconsin. Shipping to me in California was $6! for the quilt and $8 for the painting.
People are having interesting conversations on the Facebook groups about the crazy pricing.
Someone at Goodwill finds listed a Lululemon tank top for $224. No refunds unless your item doesn’t show up.I like the new listing tool but I am noticing some bugs in the item specifics. There is a category where the style or something is stuck on Mammut and I can’t change it. Also I’m almost certain that the shipping boxes reverted as I have been stuck with an inappropriate flat rate on an item or two. I usually don’t take time to review after opening my draft to take photos.

My first time selling an empty box. Sold immediately for best offer $25 and buyer was super happy with it despite the condition issues.
This is just a run of the mill troll from Norway with a stamped bottom. It’s cute and funky. I found out while researching that some signed ones are worth hundreds. Fascinating.
PS. Jay on that video someone linked recently, it was said that Ebay slowed down on the required payment for offers as there were apparently complaints from Ebay buyers (and sellers) part of the early roll out who were used to having 4 days to pay and this was the climate on this platform.
I used to cancel after using the auto message to remind the buyers but have recently sent a super quick message and some have paid after that short second message.
