I do miss my office coworkers a bit but it’s really nice just doing Ebay at home. Yes, agree it gets a bit to quiet sometimes and podcasts definitely help. I’m not a person who can do tv and list. Now that I have more time for Ebay I appreciate the Forum even more.

Paid $35 last year because I was thinking of keeping them for myself. We’ll just use our plain white plates or wedding china and pass these on. This pattern from last year is very popular yet it made it to clearance around January or February. I have very little of this new stuff left hanging around unfortunately.

I hardly ever find Scandinavian glass around here. I love these but will pass them on. Only one other listed so I matched that price. A larger lot of balls sold for more but again, not many listings for price guidance. Paid $5.99 at GW.

Number of items listed this week: 21This is one of those weeks when I am glad I looked at the numbers. It felt so incredibly slow this week. I did get back to listing though there are some distractions going on here. I also had fun shopping the newly stocked saved up Halloween stuff at my local thrift stores, though I didn’t really find any home runs. Most of my items selling are RA items even though a growing majority of my store is used items now. I don’t have the capital to invest much in RA and my favorite brands did not have good sales prices or an extra % off sale over Labor Day this year. So, I’ll just keep throwing up the used pile items.
Today I decided to up my promoted listing % from 3 to 4 as an experiment after seeing someone report results in a Facebook group. According to that group sell similar on stale listings is working for some people. I went into some old listings and cut a few prices as well as filled in some missing item specifics.
In other news, Mercari gave me a warning about hitting $300 in sales this year and they want my info. So good they are warning casual sellers about the new rules.
I listened to a couple of old SL podcasts this week while listing with my pumpkin candle on. 🙂
My 16yo daughter and her friends want to go the bins this Saturday in a nearby city. I’m like, really?
I’ve just been forced to join you in the new listing tool. I don’t mind it too much except if that you have to click to add (confirm) what you just typed in as a custom answer to item specifics (or else it gets deleted on exiting and you have to retype it). Also having some weird issue so I can’t set an auto decline amount, just an auto accept. The shipping method boxes functionality is kind of annoying as well. Finally, I’m not seeing required vs. recommended specifics like before and the list seems shorter but that’s not a bad thing if they don’t bug me for more.

Number of items listed this week: 1R&J missed you too. Your long weekend fun ties with my friend who has Covid and luckily a guest house but without air conditioning – it’s been super hot here – over 100 where she lives inland.
My store has been really dead but had a good day on Labor Day. Our power is out today but hope to list in earnest this week. I’m hoping to get to the thrifts right after they put out Halloween.
I love this old Halloween line from Williams Sonoma. I bought these for myself on clearance and have another set already, so decided to sell. Found in the garage clean out. Probably could have held out for more but I took an offer since I’m kind of desperate for sales. https://www.ebay.com/itm/334545166505
Back in the good old days, the employees would be lazy and not put things out on the floor and then you could go in when they were clearanced out and ask them to look in the back. They are more efficient now sadly and our store is small and well shopped.
@Julie I hope you begin to feel better this week. I also had a variety of symptoms for about a week and then another week of lying around with fatigue. I still felt like not doing much physical activity for another 1-2 weeks.
After a big week last week, I fell down to one listing this week.
@VT you look fun to shop with! Thanks for sharing.

Listed, sold, small haul, storage. Minimal editing as usual 🙂
Thanks to Steve and Sharon for sharing some solds. I also sold two Halloween costumes super quick on Mercari.
@Craig I think I looked on Terapeak 360 days for cross stitch quote and found something somewhat similar. This was stained, so I took that into account. I feel good when things take just a few weeks to sell. Makes be believe I priced it about right.
Pretty amusing. I like the juxtaposition of the super granny design and the booty reference. It only took a few weeks to sell.
Hi, my sales really picked up yesterday after being D-E-A-D as a doornail. I listed 50 items last week and my store is over 400 items now! I’m really trying to get things moving. I still need to find the box with Thanksgiving and I started listing Christmas this week. It’s super hot here in California but I’ve put out my Fall decor and had a pumpkin spice latte already.
Vintage Lacy I also would love to see your videos. 🙂
