Number of items listed this week: 18Good week. I had it on time away and today is annoying shipping. Hope good sales last for a while. Quite a few of the items sold I just listed right before I left. I feel like promoted listings is a part of the equation now and I’m still at 4%. Ebay just sent me some offer about advanced, but I’m only going the minimum that I think I need to do for my listings to get special treatment. Some Youtubers said you don’t want to go all in and then drop back, because it kills your sales. I also feel like the sell similar helped and I got to make offers on my stale stuff, some of which has sold.
We just got back from a 200 strong choir of high school kids from all over Southern California. And I can’t help but think, what a great way to get Covid. Also have two family members flying in. So fingers crossed.
I went thrifting in the town in San Bernardino County. There were many other shoppers and lots of made in China junk. A couple of higher end thrifts with high prices. It made me grateful I live where I do. Always fun to look through all new junk just the same – there were like 7 thrift stores in a 5 mile radius. I just got a couple of items, which is good since I have piles here.
Happy holidays to everyone!
@Julie great job! We also have company coming and I’ve got a bunch of stuff in the living room for priority listing. Keep finding more holiday stuff. I think I only have 5-6 Christmas items left and one thanksgiving in the wash.
23 for me. @VL sorry about the Covid. Glad to hear you are on the mend. I’m going to be out of town half the week but I’m pumped to list for a couple days before I go.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/334553824075 Very happy with this sale. Paid $6 for the lot at the favorite indy thrift. Just took a few weeks to sell. Took me a lot longer to get it listed.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/334625135845 This coffee mug was hanging out in my office when I worked the day job. I have too many mugs and so listed it. Was very happy to see what they go for. I love, love, love this pattern and occasionally find one or two pieces in the wild.

Number of items listed this week: 23It was an ok week. My daughter has honor choir out of town the second part of this week, so I’m really going to try to list as much as possible before then. Buyers seem to be coming active again. Mercari also is giving out a $20 off $50 coupon for listing just 10 items so I got that.
Very happy to hear about the coffee shop sales but not about the viruses. @Retro I hope you and your family continue to heal as quickly as possible. It’s so tough to not feel well when your kids are ill too – and super stressful.
I was listing way ahead of my shopping mainly this year but the week before last I realized I wasn’t keeping caught up. Also we are approaching construction and will need to move everything out of the garage again after Thanksgiving and I would love to see that inventory go down. I joined a Facebook group for people looking to eliminate their death piles. I have some heavy stuff going on with my kid so a little thrifting is kind of a nice and safe dopamine distraction for my brain. Really though, I need to get my inventory down so talking to myself about that lately.
Have a great week of sales everyone.
I was using it but with managed payments I don’t need it any longer. You can download your Ebay numbers for the year now.

If I mentioned these before, forgive me. I found several of these cards in my Halloween stuff and have no idea where I got them. Peanuts collectors are to be respected, very serious. Made $60 on three cards without envelopes. I once sold a sealed set of Snoopy cards for $60 from the 1970s. Amazing.

I didn’t do any sourcing last week, but found this candle ring at an estate sale recently for .50. Usually these look pretty tacky and are Christmas but I thought this one was nice. If it doesn’t sell maybe I’ll use it on Thanksgiving. I only go to estate sales randomly and late, but I always can pride myself on finding something others overlooked.

Great sales @T!

Unusual sale of food item – paid .98 apiece in early August for these. A lady in England almost bought one and wrote me a long note about it. WS is selling a new version again this year but I think mine will sell.
Ties with a really old item that I believe benefited from sell similar treatment. Finally sold best offer $50 https://www.ebay.com/itm/334587732596. I had it up much higher originally and thought it would go for more. It is on it’s way to Brooklyn.
Listed 8 items last week before I got sick. Stay well everyone!
