Like everyone else, you gave me the inspiration to quit my soul sucking job and sell junk on Ebay. I’m sure I’ll get blindsided by some seller update because I never bothered to read them, knowing that you would tell me everything I needed to know on the next Podcast. Guess I’ll have to start making more of an effort now.
I’m in the “promote everything at 1%” camp too. This seems like a great thing to me.
Just in case anyone is interested, I’ve relisted with global shipping turned off. We’ll see if anything comes of it.

When I fill out the form I always send the pictures from the customer as well as a copy of the invoice to prove cost. Usually in the form of screenshots from my computer.

It was a first class package but I thought we got automatic insurance through Ebay. Ugh, you are probably right and it’s only automatic insurance for priority. Oh well, there goes that money.
Tracking number works fine for regular tracking but every tracking number I try to use comes up as invalid with the claims site. I guess I’ll have to give them a call.
I had something like that happen recently. Low dollar item, it’s marked delivered, customer says it’s not at her house. I refunded her and figured I would get my $16 from the post office. Later that day it shows up.
Customer asked if she could give me my money back but I told her to consider it a gift.
I think this is going to happen more and more as jobs become Work From Home. The pandemic has really forced a lot of company’s hand and I think they, meaning companies, are going to see this as saving them money on renting office space. This will allow employees to work from wherever since they no longer have to drive into the office every day. And many people will choose rural areas because that will be the only place they can actually buy a house for a reasonable price.

I once found a single shell cordovan shoe. It was matched with another shoe that looked similar but wasn’t the same. The store was having a 50% off sale and was crazy so there was no way to ask someone to look in the back or if they had more shoes I could dig through.
So disappointing.
