I would search based on type of clothing item. Shoes and jackets will usually sell for more than t-shirts and jeans. I would also look for really unusual items – bright colors and patterns rather than solids/basics. Look for weird and potentially ugly items. Those are the things that always sell first for me.
I would assume that an indie film is going to have a lower budget than a blockbuster. I would focus less on labels and more on looking for unusual pieces.
I get the joke now. What a wild read!
“While he was in the service.”
Gaining entry to Facebook groups – “I recently inherited my uncle’s collection. My child and I are trying to learn more about them so that we can understand why they were important to my uncle.”

It hasn’t even been delivered yet so fingers crossed it doesn’t get returned. An old/vintage hard shell back brace. It’s hard plastic with velcro and ties at the side. My first thought when I saw it was Marilyn Manson and medical horror genre. It sold within 48 hours for full price of $80. I paid $.70 per lb so maybe $4.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/233249608301Thanks! So basically the answer is no, I can’t do it.
The buyer hasn’t gotten back to me so I’m guessing he won’t.
A couple of months ago I had a buyer on Etsy ask why I didn’t offer free shipping on international when I offer free domestic shipping. They thought it was extremely unfair that I wouldn’t ship a $7 item to Greece with free shipping.
Better you than me. I hate dealing with jerks. I have no patience for them and can’t fake a pleasant interaction.
Maybe I could through email but the stuff and the price would have to be really amazing.Nope. I wouldn’t touch this with a ten foot pole.
It’s my understanding that this is how the pieces were originally sold. Someone did the harder/intricate work and the person who bought it filled in the background color. This allowed you to personalize the piece to fit your decor without putting the time/skill into doing the more challenging design.
At least on the android ap, you can click on your active items (above the 5 send offer to buyers) and most of the items with watchers will give you the option to send an offer.
Returns always seem to go in waves and the wave always seems to start about a week after I find myself thinking “I haven’t had any returns in a while.”
I’ve had that happen before. The buyer really wanted the item so she bought it outright and I did a partial refund to get the price to the one we agreed on.
I’ve started following the advice of others on the forum and just lowering the price. I respond to the message with “sure, I can do that. Give me just a minute and I’ll change the price on the listing.” I guess I would have to remember to change the price back if the buyer didn’t buy it but that hasn’t been a problem.Sometimes out of curiosity, I’ll look at the feedback left for others if a seller has one negative and millions of positives. That’s usually where you find a pattern. “I HATE everything I buy and yet I keep buying stuff on Ebay! My life is so hard.”
