This should be good!
Clicks on link… I don’t get it… Reads description… something about local pickup and price quotes for shipping… scroll back up… looks at shipping price… !!!!I wondered what that noise was…
I looked up solds on Lia Sophia and sorted high to low. The highest sold price is $350 – much higher than anything else. When I clicked on it, to see why it was so special, the sold price on the listing said $4.
How strange is that little Ebay bug?04/24/2019 at 8:41 am in reply to: Populating moldy unused ebay store, any advice/warnings? Attacking death piles #60788You are over thinking this. Just take a couple of pictures and get stuff listed. Once you get started you’ll wonder why you put it off so long.
He bought it at full price so just send it to him. Don’t borrow trouble by assuming he will leave negative feedback when he receives the item.
Terri – that makes sense.
Currently the highest sold pair of Docs is $700. I’d price these at least that much, if not more.
Over the weekend I bought a coat that is for temps -30*C and below. People buy stuff all the time.
That being said, don’t do like my seller and put expensive out of season stuff on auction. I was the only bid and got at $1k coat for $400.
I’m in Columbia. Loving the weather today! The rain has washed the pollen out of the air and I have the windows open listening to the birds.
Trying to get a batch of stuff listed so that I can go to the bins for half price night.Honestly, your pictures look fine. The ones up against the door are not ideal but I assume they are older listings and you have improved things since then.
The flat lays look great. The stripes and plaids look fine to me.
I don’t see anything about your pictures that would keep me from purchasing your items.Try to let go of your perfectionism. You aren’t selling super high end stuff and no one in our market is expecting professional stock image photos.
I am a firm believer in good enough. This isn’t brain surgery or rocket science. Take your pictures as well as you can right now, list the item for sale and move on.
03/18/2019 at 1:46 pm in reply to: Promoted Listings Trending Rates – 16.4% for Collectibles!? #58889I’ve also noticed that sometimes Ebays suggestion for what you should promote your item at is much higher than the trending rate. It doesn’t happen every time but it’s something I have noticed more than once.

Active listings – 540
Sold items – 88
Gross sales – $2,036
COGS – technically $330 but $200 of that was personal stuff so really it was more like $130 out of pocket.Highest priced sold – a stained and slightly faded denim Ralph Lauren Comforter. Apparently these are really popular if you have one with the flag logo. Sold for $149 (plus shipping) – cost me $5.

Sometimes my counting to 100 takes until the next day so that I can be sure I respond pleasantly and professionally.
<The net effect is to hurt the blue states’ bottom line if this new cap sticks around and people actually relocate.>
And if that happens, more red states will vote blue. Numerically speaking, there are more people who vote democrat than republican but due to the electoral college (which was originally set up to benefit slave holding states because they did not want to count enslaved people as actual people but wanted their total population to count toward representation) the votes in lesser populated areas hold more weight.
I’m pretty sure there are whole voting districts in upstate SC that have fewer people than 2 blocks of most cities.

We pay sooooo little in taxes and it shows. But what’s funny (yeah, not actually funny) is every republican runs on a platform of lowering taxes.
