Wow! I’m so glad I shared the post instead of contacting the seller! I didn’t know it was so complicated. Thanks for the input!
Now, back to another topic we’ve had on this forum, do I go back to the lady and share this info, or just leave well alone? I think I’ll leave it alone. I don’t know her and she might not appreciate me “degrading” her sale price.
I needed curtains in a hurry for our bedroom and found these terrific curtains on eBay. I figured they last few a little while until I got around to getting some “decent” curtains.
They’re still up – 4 years later! The quality is surprisingly good and they’re excellent light blockers. So instead of a little while, they’ll be up until they tear or something. Ain’t broke…
I’ve bought from this seller now three times and he has not yet disappointed.
Ooh, Temudgin, we picked up our charcoal grill at the dump. It was rusted through on the base, which slides out for easy cleaning, and had a broken handle and side table. Looked up the brand and bought a replacement base ($20) and the hubs made a new wooden handle and table top (junk lumber off the ranch). That grill is in our backyard and has given us 4 years of yumminess!

French bread basket with attached manual bread slicer?
Carvel steak carvers.
😀 😀
Perhaps run the words together, so that spiders don’t recognize them: breadknife or steak-knife or steakknife?
I was given a prosthetic leg. Dunno if it counts as a “scavenge” bc I was given it, but it was way up there for unusual! Came with the foot and a shoe, and bags of prosthetic socks. I ended up doing pretty well with it. I’d happily have a pipeline of the prosthetic socks, but they don’t actually turn up that often.
Give me your address. I’ll send you a flat rate box full! 😀
What a week. Maybe it was something in the air? Fall’s arrival? Dunno. Hope everyone has a much better week going forward!
Spreadsheet updated. VL runs away with the lead.
Ah, VT, I’m sorry. I understand the loss of Bay-jo, so a short break might be exactly what you need. I’d love to just walk away from it all for a bit, but I’m so overwhelmed with stuff, I either have to list it and sell it, or call it a day and take it all to Goodwill. I’m seriously contemplating dumping my clothes and just listing the not-clothes. I hate clothes listing, it’s time consuming and fussy and has returns. Except shoes. I like listing shoes.
Enjoy your week off and feel good about life. Now that it’s getting cooler, perhaps you will feel more like doing some listings after your mini-holiday. 🙂
Morning. (Please note the missing “good”…)
Crappy week off eBay and I’m exhausted and miserable and don’t want to talk about it. *grumpy* I DID do a listing sprint and was thrilled to see that I managed to wipe through all 10 of my Challenge items in one listing sprint. I was so excited to try it again, but the wheels fell off the bus, the bus fell off a cliff, and an earthquake took the cliff to the depths. Bah humbug!
On to new beginnings. This week I want to try to do two listing sprints again. I also want to try something that the listing sprints inspired.
It occurred to me that I could schedule a 2-hour listing sprint into my day. And I could also schedule a 2-hour eBay “block” into the other days. What would happen if I actually schedule eBay time? While I have a listing sprint marked off on two days, the other blocks would be photographing, or cleaning, or sorting, or whatever. Then I would look at my day and figure out where that block goes, fitting it in accordingly, so that I work eBay every day, with mindful planning, rather than just squeezing it in. This might sound like a no-brainer to most people, but you need to remember that I have off-the-charts ADHD and this is a huge EUREKA moment for me.
Will report back next week on how it goes.
Ever have a week where you’d like to start life over under an assumed name?
Got my Challenge 10 listed, but no more. 🙁
Hope y’all have a good week this week.

I have a few sizes of plastic bags and bag my pairs, so that I never accidentally sell the left of one pair and the right of another, for example. The SKU is taped onto each bag and then the bags go in those giant totes with lid.
They may be watching to see how much it sells for. I do that sometimes.

Spreadsheet updated. Actually, I updated on Sunday, when we all posted, but held it until today just in case we had a return person or a newbie. 😉
