LOL! eBay groceries! Love it!
Sharyn: My husband is going loco with me flat refusing to get rid of boxes! We don’t buy that often, but I have a colleague who collects them for me and brings them home. The odd-sized little ones are particularly prized!
I am really lucky that I have Death Piles, or I’d be scavenging our house. “Do you need this? I mean, really need this? I can sell it on eBay for…” 😀
Spot on, Junque Redux!

Someone turn ebay back on😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
I can’t find the logo either, but I think you might be looking at it wrong. I think it’s something to do with space or flight. I found a few NASA logos that are very similar (especially for the Challenger), so perhaps it’s a commemorative NASA mission logo?
ETA: Aaaaaand… just to add to your search headache, the USSR has space commemorative pins too!

Oh, in that case, way cool!
I googled “donating a listing” and got a ton of stuff regarding eBay’s charity programs, and nothing about this. So then I thought about how I would handle it. If a friend or family member saw an item on eBay and asked for it, I would just end the listing and give it to them. eBay doesn’t like sales transactions off eBay that were institued on eBay. This isn’t a sales transaction. You’re ending the listing because you changed your mind about selling it, and want to donate it to a good cause. In that case, just end the listing for reason “this item is no longer for sale” and then arrange for the school to do their own shipping. IMHO.
Of course, you could always phone eBay and ask! 😉
It may be genuine, but the first thing that struck me is how strange! Would a school genuinely be searching eBay for donations? What an odd thing to do! Not only that, but they’re asking for a donation of $600? That sounds a little forward. Have you checked out the school, done a verification that they’re really who they say they are, doing what they say they’re doing? Just a thought…
I can’t help with the shirt you have, but I can give you the results I could find in my browser history for a search I did for a shirt with a strange graphic print.

I used these as pricing and key word options. My shirt had strange eyes and peacock feathers. Couldn’t find a thing about it! LOL
Finally got my shelves sorted out and cleared a lot of the home decor items that couldn’t be “categorized” into a box. This week I have a Student Showcase coming up with my belly dance classes, so a lot of my time will be put into the event, but I’m ready to start tackling my Death Piles. It has been torture seeing all the garage sales and clearouts in my neighborhood, but I’ve been good and not attended any. Also, as expected, the community donations have slowed down to a trickle.
I see lots of Death Pile reduction in my crustal ball! 😉
Happy birthday to you both!
Thanks for your help, everyone.
MDC – fabulous link, thank you! I have two other shipping calculators bookmarked, but I like this one. I’ve added it to my bookmarks bar.
So, my estimate on shipping weight was at listing. The item sold and the final package weighed 16.01oz. I sent it as First Class. If the buyer has to pay extra, I’ll send a refund.
I’m so glad someone else asked this. I’ve been so confused! ChristineR, you made me laugh. I guess you really need to up your game against yourself! LOL
I love how this group reaches all around the world! 😀
Hello David!
They could be veterinary equine dental forceps, or a bull nose twitcher.
On the other hand, they might be vintage coal tongs. used for filling bed warmer pans.
It looks more like a mushroom or toadstool to me. Perhaps toadstool, with the holes on the top.
It’s gorgeous!
Does it feel cold to the touch, and smooth and almost soapy? If yes, do you have a x10 loupe? Have a look at it under bright light. If you see little striations that look a bit like strands, it’s real jade. There’s also a scratch test, but that might damage the piece if it’s not real.
Hi Rhianna, I just did both things, the new categories and moving all my inventory into a new system. I love the new system, but it is a big job.
For the categories, this is what I found.
1. You have categories e.g. clothes; shoes, sub-categories e.g. women’s clothes; men’s shoes, and sub-sub-categories e.g. women’s tops; women’s dresses; men’s dress shoes; men’s athletic shoes. Three levels: clothes>women’s clothes>women’s tops. You can create up to 300 (iirc) categories, but for the purposes of counting, eBay includes subs as categories. So if you have 10 categories and 5 subcategories in each, eBay calls it as 50 categories.
2. You cannot adjust categories or subs once you have stuff in there. It’s a real PITA to move them too, takes 24 hours to effect the change, so do yourself a favor. Work out your categories and sub-categories in advance. Type them into a Notepad or Word doc that you can copy/paste later.
3. There is a character limit on each category and sub, but you can group things together. So you can put Toys, Plush, Games all in one category, then create subs that separate them. It’s the same principle as an Amazon or eBay search: have a broad category and then allow drill-down in search.
4. Once you have subs within a category, it’s easy to add more subs later if you need them. However, if you have items in the category/sub and you try to amend something, it will either refuse to do it or delete all your items from the category. If you need to adjust a category, create a category called Temp or Transfer and move all your stuff there. Wait 24 hours. Make your changes. Wait 24 hours. Move everything back. Told you it was a PITA! 😉
Hope this helps!
