Donna Aldridge.
Did they say anything about how many keywords are searched? I’ve read that it’s the first 4 words in a title.
Also, on photo resolution, I read just recently that large resolution photos load very slowly, so it’s best to keep them down to the maximums of 1600×1600 for your gallery photo and 1200×1200 for all the others.
Thanks MUCH for the info!
Sorry, “found the information on Worthpoint” I should have said. I wish I’d found a pair and sold them for $400! π
Check with your local post office first to ensure they offer it. My rural post office does not, and eBay would not accept the address as valid.
I found a pair of sneakers that sold for $150 back in 2014, white with a silkscreen-like picture, and a pair of boots that sold in 2016 for $399. Yours are not as high up the calf as the boots, but more ankle coverage than the sneakers. Also, yours seem to be a 3D rendering of the dinosaurs. Use the word “rare” and price high.

I don’t know what it is either, but “German” popped into my head. Or maybe Bavarian.
I used to have my auto non-payment cases set to 4 days, until I realised it’s 4 days until the case opens, then 4 days until the case closes. That’s over a week! Changed it to 2 days auto, which gives 6 days. I’ve had 3 non-payments this month already. It happens. As it’s on auto, I set it and forget it. While I’m still a tiny store and don’t have much turnoever, I think it’s good for me to get in the J&R zone of set-it-and-forget-it. I take that method even into the financials. I can’t waste energy getting worked up about folks who don’t pay. I’ve got listing to do! π
It’s probably bc eBay businesses tend to be small and don’t have the same sorts of expenses that justify accrual systems. Most of us operate on cash. eBay’s accrual is really just one month’s fees, and it is deducted immediately from our cash flow. The only true “accrual”, imho, is inventory, for those who operate on a COGS basis. I find it easier to just write off my purchases as expenses, so my business is entirely cash-based.
Try the British House of Cards. It’s brilliant! Short and punchy!

I love how life, like fashion, is circular. π
07/24/2017 at 9:11 am in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Hats, Briefcase, Glass mugs, Fender amp, Jansport, Hood emblem #20666I’ve actually been doing really well with selling empty tequila bottles. Got for free from my community.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tequila-Clase-Azul-Reposado-Empty-Bottle-750ml-Talavera-Pottery-Handpainted-Tall/182670477989There is a category in my store called “Ugly” and this was in it. The buyer said in the feedback “I so love this item!” LOL Got in a barter swap, along with a few other items, for a dozen eggs.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ugly-Frog-Glass-Metal-Ornament-Hanging-Bell-Door-Chime-Garden-Suncatcher-Art/182608636340This was in the box of stuff I got from buying the “remains” of a yard sale. I honestly didn’t think I’d get much for them, if they sold, but they did. So, cost was about 10c. Feedback on this said “Very pretty, great condition.”
http://www.ebay.com/itm/182569199509And I’m including this one only because the feedback made me laugh: “Even prettier, and more gorgeous than photo” Never expected that kind of comment for a tie! Got for $1 at GW.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Charles-London-Mens-Tie-Counting-Sheep-Novelty-Blue-100-Silk-59-L-3-5-W-/182622145682I’ve just purchased a lot of 100 hats and was quoted shipping of $29 on an 18lb box. For reference/comparison purposes. However, mine are being shipped Fedex.
Woot woot!
First box from the Death Piles emptied! It measured almost 30″ square, so it was a big one. Not the biggest, but … yay!!!
