Number of items listed this week: 70Slower week. Didn’t list as many as would have liked. On Monday we went to an estate sale that had 75% off and we spent more than we ever have at 1 sale…$140. Filled up my RAV4. So much cool stuff!
Ah well, refunded the buyer. Not their fault. At least we didn’t have to pay to get it shipped back. Rita’s gonna try to see if the Post Office will do anything. Obviously something crazy happened. ๐คข
Seems sorta like a weird dream, this whole crockpot fiasco. ๐
I really don’t understand stand the two foreign objects in there. And the crockpot looks like it was dropped off a roof. After being ripped from ththe original box.
The remains of the crock pot arrived on our doorstep this evening.
This is so bizarre…
We didn’t have to pay to get it back. They just left it.
It was in a different box than what we sent it out in. Well, we found out our box was inside of this new box. The side of our box had been ripped open…not the top or bottom seam but the side. And the crock pot was pulverized. In 1000 pieces.
Also in th box were two foreign objects. A small bottle of lotion and some chocolate wafers that were wrapped in tissue paper.
WTF?!

Number of items listed this week: 50 (listed fewer because kids were on spring break. We also went to Louisville for the weekend for a soccer game. Also hit some great sales and found some awesome inventory.)Thanks for the video link! Love it!
I love selling RL. Before this hat we had sold a star front sweater for $300 and a 1967-1987 small crest sweater for $150. But this hat has been the best by far…so far.
Don’t wear RL myself though. I prefer 1970s JCPenney. ๐

Jay says “Where did you learn this stuff?!”
I say “I learned it by watching you, okay?!”

I’d buy them for $1.

Money spent on new inventory this week: $35 (estate sales)Good steady week. Our average price sold remains constant at around $30. Also our percentage sold compared to total listings remains constant at 8.5-9%. This is good. It shows that the more we list, the more we sell. And we rarely spend more than a dollar or two on each piece of inventory. We source from estate sales and local thrift stores. Rarely go to Goodwill, but will go to Salvation Army for their sales.
The week prior was our best week ever, thanks to the $1000 Polo hat! But removing that it was still a consistent week. The previous week we were around $2200.
And thanks for the shout on the pod about the Polo hat!! My kids were stoked!
