Yep. Purchased from Target. That’s also why (at least in my area), they are tagged with white tags which never go 1/2 price and are excluded from any other kind of discount. Pretty sure they have an agreement with Target that they have to put a minimum price on each item and can’t sell it for less, at least in the retail stores. Never been to the bins, so not sure if the Target stuff ends up there eventually, or not.
Thanks, Sonia.
OMG on the turkey plates!!! Congrats.
Decided to jump on the sharing bandwagon. I have a small store (200 items +/-), so there’s not a whole lot to show for a week, but here are some of my better/more interesting sales over the past 30 days.
Knew when I spotted this that there’d be a market for it, especially since it was in pristine condition. Vintage Banana Republic cloak. Paid $10, sold for $150.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/253967170212Vintage cassette answering machine. It was worth the $4 I paid just to listen to the tape that was left in it. “Pick up! Pick up! If you don’t pick up….”. Sold for $40.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/233015628122Some Starbucks Mugs still sell for decent money. Paid .99 and sold for $30 within a week or two. First one I’ve found in the “You are Here” series.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/254007646665Never heard of Annieglass, but I noticed the signature when I spotted it in the thrift, so did a quick lookup. Paid $3.50 and sold for $50, despite some scratching to the gold trim.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/254022181439If you’re willing to wait it out, you can never go wrong with Scottish cashmere. A world away from the cheap China pilly stuff. Paid $6.50 and sold for $100 to a buyer in France.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/254005703071Again, if you’re willing to sit on it, a good quality men’s cashmere coat will sell for good money. Paid $20 for this Bloomingdale’s one and sold it for $150.

I don’t do carrier pickup, so the only part of my Ebay biz she’s involved in is delivering the free Priority Mail boxes I order. She’s just a nice person who always has a smile on her face and never complains about her job. Priceless.
Ingenious!
Interesting. I haven’t had any INAD returns, but had a couple of “didn’t fit” returns accepted automatically, when I used to have to approve them. I understand your point that when it’s an electronics INAD or a broken item, you sure don’t want to pay return postage.
IME, they weren’t applying the automatic two-day refund after return policy, though. I know this because I was out of town recently and the USPS stop mail request didn’t go into effect until the day after it was supposed to and a return was delivered on that day. Ebay still gave me 5 days to refund the buyer.
Welcome! Good for you for staying home with your kids and making it work. You can never get those years back.
Sold a one-piece women’s one a few weeks ago for $125. Paid $5.99. It was in mint condition, though. Most I find are dirty or torn and I can never get spots out of that kind of material.
I vote for the tooth clock!
Literally just passed up that fart mug yesterday. Call me crazy
I have this one and love it. Has a spot for regular scotch tape as well as the wider packing tape and a little storage spot for pens/scissors. I have one in my office and one upstairs in my packing area. Love them.
11/27/2018 at 12:32 pm in reply to: How would you price this Norwegian language book? "Perleri Prosa" #52354Thank you, Daniel. I rarely sell books, so I appreciate your input. Nothing special as far as signed, etc. Maybe I’ll price it at $75 with best offer.
This community is also on my list of things/people for which I’m thankful.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable day.
You may have already run across this, but all I could find was this reddit thread with only one reply. Info in reply is the same thing I came up with when searching. Don’t think it’s a large manufacturer.
What Panama Hat brand is this? Please help
byu/jmartine84 infindfashionCongrats!
Doubly, the negative you sold is so fun to look at. Can you imagine kids balancing precariously like that for a class photo in our current litigious society?
