First I have heard of this! I live maybe 25 minutes from here. I signed up for updates, might buy a ticket as the date gets closer.
I love it too! They are incredibly fast and knowledgeable.
Thanks! For some reason it would not show up on my phone. Technology.
No. Maybe because it is a closed group. Type the name of the group antique identification and value in the search. It’s the one with 25,000+ members. There are other similar groups but I have not tried them.
01/14/2017 at 7:45 am in reply to: USPS Carrier marked all 40 of my boxes "Delivered" instead of "Picked Up" #10249The scanners we use at the PO can be a bit of a drag. Were they scanned outside? If winter gloves were involved that could be the problem! Or of course an inexperienced postal worker! On behalf of the USPS I apologize for the inconvenience. As a fellow shipping nerd I say :/
Perhaps they have both grown to love their unintended purchases. I would just wait for them to contact you again.
Good morning. I don’t understand how I use imgur to post a picture here. Help please.
TamI keep forgetting to do that Ryanne! I heard you talk about that on the podcast and said to myself “gotta do that next time!” and then promptly forgot it :/
I would say it was 40%-ish.
I am always on the look out for paint by numbers. Both complete and kits. This is a passionate group of collectors!
I love popular mechanics! Started reading it with my dad when I was a kid. I can only speak for myself on this issue, so here it is: I am careful with all the packages no matter what it says on the outside. However, I have been known to mutter ” I’m fragile too %&**!@@!” when a box that ends up being really heavy or unbalanced and says “Fragile” comes my way! I repair bad shipping and packing practices ALL THE TIME. Here is something to keep in mind when taping a box: think of what a Dr. does when stitching a wound. They don’t go in the same direction as the cut when they stitch, they go across it. The same goes for sealing a box! A piece of tape only along the seam is in general bad packing practice! Your packages come into contact with some amazing sorting machines that can be pretty uncaring sometimes. Stack the deck in your favor!
The postal service can be pretty mysterious! I am happy to help!
