Congratulations, thats a great purchase for you. As someone who has bought large collections before, I know the angst that comes with such a decision.

I had an RCA I bought off eBay around 1999-2000, music was stored on a flash card.

Vintage airline stuff seems to do well as long as you’re willing to wait.01/06/2022 at 8:44 am in reply to: Ancient video camera, Casserole dish, Breadmaker motor, Panasonic flip clock #94589Thanks Cheryl, appreciate the feedback.
Nice job, you listed that KC Chiefs shirt at the right time of the season.
I would create a video to show what is working.
These have a transistor preamp and tube power section, the problem could be something as simple as a a dirty function switch.
I would be asking $800 minimum if the physical condition is good.
12/06/2021 at 11:38 am in reply to: Pochade easel, GameCube, Zenith radio, Nut bowls, Stereos, Dyson parts #94150Sharyn, I usually don’t take into consideration the asking price when determining to make a video although I probably wouldn’t make the effort on $20 or less. It’s more a matter of showing functionality.
The insertion of a video process is second nature to me now and takes very little time to record and upload.
11/20/2021 at 6:28 am in reply to: Clicker remote, Nintendo games, DVD VCR Combo, TV Stand, Garrard 301 turntable #93960They were asking $800 and that’s why I scrolled past it initially as I thought there would be nothing left to profit from, glad I went back and researched it, I ended up paying $700.
10/22/2021 at 9:21 pm in reply to: Platter Pak, Record player, Syroco wall art, Vintage work shirt, LegOMatic Chair #93629I never like to comment about potential underpricing but as someone who’s had to deal with radios and broken glass this Garod dial glass may have been worth quite a bit more depending on the model. A very rare Dial Glass can sell for up to half the value of the radio itself. Feel free to ask me about vintage audio equipment and I’ll happy to try and help.
I wouldn’t think that weight would factor into whether or not a package gets inspected, image the weight of a box of books the same size as a case of tapes.
10/07/2021 at 6:59 pm in reply to: 8-track player, sales by Stephanie on Poshmark, Mercari, Depop @stephxred #93436Ive had luck with vintage hammers a s well, I sold one that had a metal and wood handle for pretty good money.
