we have a second hand store (i hesitate to call them a thrift, their prices are kinda high) and they buy huge truckloads from Goodwill. which is obviously annoying since the quality isn’t great and it just feels like shopping at a Goodwill!
i had a similar type of claim recently, buyer bought the item and then sent a message that it wasn’t what they thought, how about 50% back, we said, ok, you don’t like it, return it. they never messaged again or opened a return case. point is, they were just trying to get a partial refund after the fact. maybe this buyer is too. they are just saying it’s incomplete hoping you’ll offer some $$ back. you’re calling their bluff. crossing my fingers for ya.
i also googled “NB High School Michigan” there is a town called New Buffalo which is about 40 minutes from Sisters Lake area. could be it?
i googled Sisler, Michigan, no such town, i then searched Sister, Michigan, looks like there is a Sister Lakes area Michigan. Anyone? Might help find the name of the high school if we know that town nearby.

yeah, choose Parcel Select if you’re buying shipping online. not sure why Retail Ground would be more money than what the buyer paid, that’s weird. but i’ve been doing ok with Parcel and Priority and First class seeming pretty accurate these days.
i would call it Mid Century Modern Atomic Age Style. if i’m not sure it’s vintage, i add the word Style. and put it in a non-vintage category.
as we always say, this manifesto is what works for us, take our template and tweak, tweak, tweak and make it work for you. then we learn from each other. each scavenger situation is unique and will have a different equation based on your passions, location, lifestyle, health, relationship and kid status, etc etc.
that’s great to hear, i think at one point ebay had chat and i wish they would bring that back, would much rather chat with someone than wait on hold, or have to call at all. anchor support does have email, but they take 24-48 hours to get back to you.
