that looks like the Santa Fe railway logo, might have something to do with some vintage promotional material–

i have been diligent about covering barcodes lately. right when i put a used box or bubble mailer in my shipping area, i just put a blank label over them. then i when i print my shipping label, it goes over that. hoping that’s opaque enough that the old codes don’t get scanned. i have seen other ebay sellers barely sharpie a label (one line through it).
we posted the podcast on Oct 29th, the markers sold on Nov 1st. we’ll probably mention it this week. ; )
i was pulling a piece of luggage from storage and i noticed no photos loading. i figured it was just one of my older ‘missing photos’ listings, but it was just that glitch. scary!
no we don’t enter a bogus tracking number or any tracking number, you don’t need to on a Local Pick up item. you can exchange addresses and phone numbers once the person has paid without issue.
yes, you are thinking about this correctly, i have two categories and at tax time i just ignore the “Ebay Fees” category that Go Daddy made and use the Ebay Fees Credit Card” category that I made. they should be very close to the same number, so you should be good.

10/25/2018 at 9:35 am in reply to: Thrift stores refusing to sell you items because they know they're good finds #50702one of our local thrift stores has rules about volunteers ‘shopping’ while sorting- it’s not allowed. we’ve asked the employee/volunteers if they ever find good stuff while sorting and they’re like, we aren’t allowed to put stuff aside, it all has to go out on the floor. so i think that’s a good policy. they can shop and pay for stuff as a customer when their shift is done.
10/25/2018 at 9:31 am in reply to: Bug alert on relisting as " Sell Similar" with quantity of more than 1 #50701yes i’ve had this issue when ending and “selling similar” items that are flagged older than 16 months as well. but i think instead of “sell similar” if you “relist” the ended items, it keeps your current quantity. i did a test of only 3 items ending them and relisting yesterday, wrote down my current qty and compared it to the relisted qty and it was correct. so i went ahead and ended and relisted all my 16 month old listings yesterday and they seem correct.
yes, ebay does not do a good job explaining to buyers or sellers what to do in this situation. i usually tell my buyers to contact ebay directly, but they usually open a case with me. so i do what you said in this thread. i don’t click any buttons on the return case, i just call.
ok good to know, i will either list on Chrome or sign out of the extension when listing on FF. thanks y’all!
i was thinking it might be Ink Frog too, but i found this ebay forum thread on my first search for answers, so i knew it was LastPass. Very strange! i thought also that it might be the new ebay mobile app inserting code, but i have not updated the app the iphone that my helpers use (or ours). thanks for reading! hope this helps someone else in the future too.
huh, so i just read on the ebay forums, that if you have just enabled LastPass on your browser, this could be causing it. i just installed LastPass, so that’s probably the issue. so weird!!
