I’ve sold 3 items so far with promoted listings, but I’m really not sure if it really has helped or was just a coincidence. I am also still waiting to see the credit…my store is suppose to have a $30 credit each quarter for promoted listings. If I understood what I read correctly you are charged the promoted listing ad fee from your sold item one month and then credited for same the following month, but my credits from last month have not posted yet. Maybe it’s not credited until the end of the month when they run your invoice? I think it’s worth trying, even more so if you’re alloted a certain amount each quarter for your store. Best of luck!
And eBay contact #3 – the defect stands. They will not change it, so just be careful everyone!
I received the same email and have been trying to find a way to check my listings. No luck. I looked at the growth screen, mine also shows 0 needing product identifiers. The email said “we’re writing again to inform you…”. A link to directions or a listing checker of some sort sure would have been appreciated!
Amatino – thanks for letting me know that I’m not alone in the August Weirdness! Ryanne’s example of the “purse lady” on the latest podcast is another good example of this phenomenon!
There is indeed something in the air this month! Just since August 1st I have had 2 offers I accepted that the buyers never paid for, 3 returns because the items didn’t fit (turns out the buyers are only looking at the pretty pictures and are NOT looking at the descriptions which, in addition to the size, give measurements), 2 purchases that were cancelled MINUTES after the purchase (has anyone else noticed that PayPal is only giving us partial refunds on cancellations?) and 1 offer that was immediately withdrawn. I have also had some totally bizarre questions about items and LOTS of lower than low ball offers. I usually don’t see that much “crap” in 6 months time! Maybe it’s the total eclipse…
Will the underage or overage be credited to or deducted from our eBay accounts if we print eBay labels? I didn’t see where that was clearly explained.

During the video, you said “Alexa, temperature” and our Alexa started giving us our local weather. Just got a kick out of it since you’re in South Dakota and we’re in Michigan, and you were still able to set it off! Looks like your sales have been great…keep up the good work! We also love to see your kids at the end of the videos and look forward to seeing the new video each week. Thanks for sharing!
We have also had a shipping label issue this week, starting on the 13th. Pay for the label as usual and it prints out blank. Printed OK on the morning of the 13th but later that day would not print. Tried again on the 14th and the 15th, blanks again. Had to void the labels and print at USPS.com. Googled to see if anyone else was talking about the issue and there were many with this issue. The concensus was not to call CS because they had no clue. One person indicated that he thought the problem was with Internet Explorer. He changed over to Google Chrome and was able to print again, so we tried that and we can now print again too. The label print page does look different, but not sure if that is eBay or Google Chrome. Don’t know if this will help you, but wanted to offer it in case it could. Good luck..
