Thanks, Anna. Awesome work! And your book has been sooooo helpful to me. Thank you. I gave it a great review on Amazon. 🙂
03/23/2021 at 11:03 am in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 506: We Don’t Have The Luxury Of Being Mediocre #86960I just finished the latest podcast last night on my way home from work. I feel very Scavenger Life famous right now. I so appreciate your acknowledgment. And, you are right. I, too, feel we really can’t escape that pull to compare ourselves to others. I think, similar to what you said, we can use those comparisons to learn and improve and not to have them stop us. I love you guys – and this community. Thank you.

Ohhhhhhh… that went over my head. LOL. But, yes, that is, of course, an absurd conspiracy theory. Ha. Ha. 🙂
What I wrote was kind of stupid. 🙂 eBay supported me in listing some more high dollar items by increasing my dollar limit. The quantity of items were not more than the normal limit for a non-store holder, I suppose, so they just increased the amount I could list per month. Makes sense.
<p style=”text-align: left;”>That’s interesting. I don’t have a store but, at one point I was listing some very expensive antiques and eBay let me raise my limit tremendously. My current limit is 190 items or $63,000 per month. Whatever comes first. I guess I got lucky.</p>

Nope.
<div>I’m on a Mac and – usually – TextEdit (the equivalent of Notepad on Windows) is enough to remove formatting for most situations. Not so with these Forum posts so, in the past, I have tried “format stripping apps” and have had problems. So I’ve just been typing into the Forum post directly.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Here is a new test…</div>
<div></div>
<div>This text I have placed in this post has been stripped with “Paste Plane Text” from the App Store which I downloaded on my Mac. I am hoping that it will keep things like commas, periods, dollar signs ($), etc. and only remove things like bullets and paragraph returns – basically keep all characters.</div>
<div></div>
<div>This should help make it easier to copy and paste and then just tweak it a little on the Forum post.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Let’s throw in some bullets and see if that works.</div>
<div></div>
<div>•$100</div>
<div>•$200</div>
<div>•$300</div>
<div></div>
<div>Testing.</div>Thanks for noticing, Jay. 🙂

I am so glad you sent this because I watch that show and thought the same thing when Ryanne said that but didn’t want to sound stupid if I was wrong. So there are two of us so it must be right. There are a lot of cosplayers (people who dress up in their favorite characters’ costumes for those who are not comic book nerds). They must be chomping at the bit for the next con (comic book convention) so they can dress up. I would have never thought that they would want to dress up as Agnes (Agatha) Harkness but why not!
