Quite inspirational. I have been digging in and asking myself what I need to give up… what I need to do to go further… thanks for the reminder that it is possible.

Thanks very much. Darn, I forgot to add… he gave me a negative feedback to boot – just after my one and only for the past year and a half dropped off. Should I go after that as well? I think eBay might consider it given that I never received the package and he never gave me tracking but I am interested to hear from someone with more experience. They could also just say, “You’re out of luck.” Thanks.
Martin was one of your most interesting guests. I loved that podcast (I think it was one… maybe it was two). It’s amazing how he lives his life. And his apartment is so cool. It reminds me of some old apartments in Berkeley and Oakland in The Bay Area, California.
Cool!
Thanks for your question, Jay. I changed careers back in 2008. I have been in the hospitality industry since then. From my understanding, there is still some post production still going on with people working from home, etc. But everything is pretty much shut down.

Number Of Items Listed This Week: 7Good news for you – and thanks for all the info, everyone. It seems that, even though titles are designed to maximize key words, it is worth it to use phrases like “compatible with” in cases like these. And it is good to see you can also plead your case to the company who made the complaint.
This week eBay pulled one of my listings with no penalty but gave me a warning. It was not a VERO warning but related so I will piggyback on what was said here.
I received a “price gouging” warning on a box of medical rubber gloves I had listed. The email I got from eBay stated, “Offering essential items at a price higher than is considered fair or reasonable is not allowed on eBay.” I had simply matched the price with similar items I saw on eBay and compared it to Amazon to make sure I could beat their prices as well.
The email further stated:
“To prevent price gouging, during the COVID-19 crisis, only authorized sellers can list:
– Medical masks
– Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes
– Toilet paper
– Diapers, baby formula, and baby wipes
– Tampons
– Lysol disinfectant spray and Clorox bleachIt also said, “Because you may not have been aware of this policy, we’re sending this notice to educate you about it and ask that you follow this policy in the future.”
Hope this is helpful.

Number Of Items Listed This Week: 7Would you be able to give us a sample listing title – could be made up (say for a slide of a street in Paris with a lamp post from the 40s) – just to see what kind of key words an effective slide seller uses? What might be some of the other key words that help someone find your listing besides the subject matter? I know slides can be use in art installations, for instance. Any other purposes for slides you throw in the title that are helpful? Arts? Crafts? Etc. Thanks.
Marty
That is pretty darn cool!
