Retro, you have had a very traumatic event in your lives. Hang in there. You are doing better and that is what matters. We are all in your corner.

That is amazing! You know your stuff. Really cool info. Thanks.
Cool. I got some DVDs and CDs from my mother-in-law and was surprised to find a few gems when I checked prices. But, you never know. Over the years I have sold a few and, for the most part, I would say mini-series and multiple disc collections are the best. Re-mastered classics might fit in that group. Not always – but I use it as a basic generalization.
Nice! I’m going to definitely keep that in mind as I come across them.
True. There are times when I eBay message a buyer after payment to confirm they saw the flaw – before I print that label. It also gives them a chance to back out. I think I saved myself 1 time out of the 5 recent ones in the past few months where this was the case.

I can’t believe you noticed my numbers – let alone were able to respond with your situation. Hope you both are feeling better. I am 53 and got Covid last January – not the Delta. We got vaccinated (all of my immediate family) except my 9 year old. We are still concerned.
Feel better so you can get back to selling really soon. Wishing you both a speedy recovery.
And – yes – I am experiencing a new momentum in my process… thank you 🙂

Not sure where to post my numbers – so how about here… maybe we should do date ranges in the title or something? 🙂

I just sold an NBC TV show on DVD for $60 – 1 disc. Sounds crazy but the comps went as high as $100 but the average was around $50-$60.
Antique Frog, I almost bought that comic book this week. I opted for Pacific Presents #2 – which I think is a better cover of Rocketeer. The character is in development for a Disney Plus streaming show and it was announced this week. I owned both of those once upon a time as well as the Starslayer books he first appeared in.
Thanks for sharing the link to your interview, Jay. It is quite moving. It seems to me that you had to always focus on how you would arrange your words and how the way you said those words would be judged by others. It is mind boggling to consider. I have no idea how I would have handled such a thing. I can see how it could keep you up at night. It is awesome what you have accomplished in this process.

Wow – I can’t believe it. I am feeling sad but I completely respect your decision.
Your podcast has been such a motivator for me over the years. I can’t thank you two enough.
With Jay and Ryanne’s blessings, I would humbly ask: Is there anyone here who is thinking about taking up the mantle and starting a podcast? Shame on me if this sounds insensitive to say so soon but I feel it is important to try to keep a podcast going. What you have created has truly built a community. Nothing will ever be quite like your podcast but it could help to keep this community going.
Thank you. Love you guys!
I am about to cry so I am going to go now.
