Okay the rug pile definitely goes to ash. The fringe kind of breaks apart. I think the fringe could be cotton. I found this online:
“How to tell if material is cotton?
Cut small pieces of each fabric you want to test, such as 2″ squares. Place a piece of the fabric in your fireproof container and ignite one corner. Pay attention to the odor of the smoke. Cotton smells like burning paper and has an afterglow at the end of the burn.”It definitely has the afterglow.
They smell different from each other. My sniffer is never reliable.
The seller who is an antique dealer said it was synthetic. Another dealer said it was hand woven and wool. I asked a friend if he was reliable and she said ya he knows his stuff. He leaned in and said you stole it. You never know who knows what right?!
Its pretty. That’s about all I have to offer. Sorry 🙁
Okay for some reason I can’t get the photo of the back of the rug to post. I retook the photo and still no luck 🙁

Your right. The person that suffers is not the jerk. Its the person who holds onto it.
Yes do things that pull your attention away from the situation. I like solitaire or mindless games. Its becomes like meditation.
Out of sight. Out of mind! Over the years I’ve had a few items that reminded me of something not so great. I got rid of them! Who needs a daily reminder right?!
So that went a little bit deep. Okay guess I’m not conveying this right.
For instance. When I am trying to get something done that I’m unsure of. I have a mantra “fake it till you make it” and I plow through.
I do occasionally have the Frozen theme go through my head “Let it go! Let it go!”
Okay I’ll let this go 😉
Yes I’ve been
I can get past the eBay stuff. I was talking personal. Yet it related to your podcast. In the sense that we have to let unfair things that happen to us go.
Hard to stop it from creeping back into your thoughts.
I’m still waiting for Karma to kick in 😉
Seems like these days, the nastier you are the further you go. Or maybe its in the news more.
