Are you talking about negative feedbacks? If so, you will be fine, those are not that important. More important are the seller metrics such as defects, shipment rate, cases closed without seller resolution, etc. If you ship on time, eBay will remove negative feedbacks and defects if the issue is with USPS, you will just need to call them.
May I ask how you managed to use your checking account to pay for shipping? I’m trying to use a CC but I don’t see how it is possible without using Paypal.
Last time it happened to me it was just showing negative pending funds. I’d imagine if it enough time passes in the negative, it will pull it out from bank account.
I have not encountered the first situation, but as for your second question; when you are in the print shipping label screen, at the bottom of the page it should have an option to change from Paypal to Pending Funds.
08/05/2020 at 11:16 am in reply to: ebay managed payments & GoDaddy Bookkeeping – good news I hope #80382I see what you are saying, however, the issue is that we are getting extra income on shipping by them adding the import charges and the GSP shipping. As we only print shipping label for the US to Kentucky the charge is not accounted for on GDBK. Not sure if I am explaining it correctly, but there is no way to have GDBK trained to have it done automatically as there is no accompanying shipping charge to balance the shipping income. As it stands, the only way to do it is manually for each GSP order.

If we need to do that for every GSP sale, then there really wouldn’t be a point to having GDBK. The idea is to have everything streamlined where GDBK does all the heavy lifting, specially when I have 100’s of GSP orders a year.
08/05/2020 at 10:25 am in reply to: ebay managed payments & GoDaddy Bookkeeping – good news I hope #80378Sonia, I have the same issue with GSP. I think I’m going to have to drop GDBK until these issues are ironed out and do it manually. Can’t really trust any of the information at the moment. Also, I had to cancel a GSP order and in GDBK the shipping and import charges are not showing up as refunded. It’s a big mess.
07/29/2020 at 10:42 pm in reply to: ebay managed payments & GoDaddy Bookkeeping – good news I hope #80166I never had it activated previously, just Paypal. I would just add in the invoice amount to Godaddy when I would pay with credit card which is also connected to Godaddy Bookkeeping. As far as sales tax, for some transactions I see zero, but for others it is not appearing.
07/29/2020 at 9:41 pm in reply to: ebay managed payments & GoDaddy Bookkeeping – good news I hope #80162I’m curious about the final value fees not showing up under expenses. Everything else comes through, income transactions and ad fees, but just no final value fees? Anyone having same issue?
Hi, bumping thread with a question. Can you still (I know you mentioned it before, but would like to confirm as things change in months) use a credit card to pay for shipping labels in eBays new Managed Payments?
You don’t need to worry about it, unless you have more than 10 employees. From Prop 65 FAQ: “Are any businesses exempt from Proposition 65? Yes. Small businesses with fewer than 10 employees, governmental agencies, and public water systems are exempt from the warning requirement and discharge prohibition of Proposition 65.“
03/12/2020 at 10:00 pm in reply to: Ebay as a buyer question. Tracking says delivered but never received #75071It happened a couple of days ago. We thought maybe we would receive it the next day, but here we are with no item. We did speak with Post Office and they say it was delivered, seller said same thing that it was delivered. I called eBay and they said to contact the seller. Everyone pretty much just throwing the hot potato.
These pictures are of the full paintings.
12/26/2019 at 10:52 am in reply to: Has anyone had his happen? Lost Chargeback Claim – Paypal #72124They didn’t want to say what it was for. In the e-mail it only states the reason as “other.” The rep only mentioned that the buyer did not open the case for item not delivered or unauthorized transaction – she said those would be covered under seller protection. She did mention that there may be a chance the buyer’s financial institution may still side with me based on my response but it could take up to 75 days.
10/23/2019 at 11:56 am in reply to: eBay Not Collecting Sales Tax When It Says It Will & Partial Return Glitches #69497I have the same issue. eBay is supposed to start collecting taxes for my state (Texas) this month and for some they do collect it but not for others. I did remove the tax on all of the listings to see if it will start collecting the taxes for those, but nothing. I don’t even see the “Sales tax (eBay collected)**” for orders in Texas.
