welcome. What made you stop selling six months ago?
I’m not sure if this would rise to the level of “abuse” for eBay. I’d just block the buyer from all future purchases. He can keep making accounts, but if you stay quiet, he’ll likely move on.
Yeah, just ship the shoes. Just be aware he may start a return. Just accept and dont engage.
People are weird. For me, the key is to remove my ego. It’s a transaction. As long as the item is paid for at the price I want, we’re good.
Unfortunately loud, kooky buyers like this are often the ones who return items. Your choice if you want it to go through.
–Mail the item and hope for the best. If the buyer has an issue, take the return. Stay silent.
–Or Cancel the sale. Block buyer. Never say a word.
Good news: you can always get a job. Sounds like you have a very specialized skill so I’m sure it’s easy to start clocking in again if you had to.
I joke that I’m unemployable, but I know I could get a number of jobs is push came to shove.
Wow! Lets hope the $9k sale goes through.
You seem to make enough each month to be able to buy that piece of land you discussed. I assume your jobs pay for your living situation.
This seems like pretty big news. Do you think many smaller FBA sellers have had to pull out? Are people now just selling as “Merchant Fulfilled”?
Sounds like you’re doing it smart. I’d always fear the risk of all the up front money. I imagine you sometimes put up $5k? to buy a bunch of inventory.
What do you think your average item is listed at? Do you think most your items are listed for under $30?
Selling toys this time of year is likely super smart since xmas present will be needed by all.
You said FBA stopped working in March? What is it like now?
Glad the podcast can still be useful for people who have sold for a long time.
Are you still doing the retail arbitrage for toys? How does that math work for you?

Looks homemade. Could be a decoration that slides onto a the front of a shelf.
Welcome OldNorth. Sorry to hear about your medical issues, but glad you’re finding a way to sell.
When you and your friend sold furniture, what was that business like? Make a lot of money?

Every contract job we do now is: “you pay us $x for x work.” Once that contract is done, we can write a new one if we want. But there’s a definite end.
Open ended contract work is just a job without benefits.
