Yeah, with random messages like that, we wait for them to open a return case. eBay has a clear return system. If a buyer chooses to work outside it, they’re on their own.
Good to take care of your health, especially your teeth. They only get more expensive the longer you wait.
That’s such an interesting discovery. I’m sure there’s a seller out there that specializes in selling vintage calendars.
Understood. But without a response, he’ll move on. Just delete the messages without reading them.
Yep , use the silent treatment.
Do other people do “make offer” and “free shipping”? I thought the point is to build in the shipping cost into the price. Once you start taking offers, don’t you change the math not in your favor?
Yeah, I feel it’d be wise to either offer “free shipping” OR allow “make offer”. To do both would seem to invite a race to very low sale prices after paying to ship.
NOOOOOO! Chili dogs are a so good. Might be weird with coffee.
Congrats on the crazy expensive cat food. That’s $4 a can. Seems more expensive than buying a fresh fish!

But as much as we rag on working for other people, jobs are good. Its what 95% of the world does: work at a job. If you like where you are, that’s great! As we’ve mentioned on the podcast, starting this coffee shop is away to build a work culture where we can be with other people.
Glad you found a way to survive when scavenging got lean.
It would be nice if they notified us of the release hold, just like they notify us when they put the hod on.
12/23/2020 at 9:42 am in reply to: Late Shipment Report – Disputing or Automatically Remove – EBay? #84580Yeah, this is not uncommon. eBay will make an announcement to change how something is down temporarily, BUT the system in place is not coded correctly to handle the change.
So I assume they’re retroactively go back and erase all those. Smart to stay on top of it and be a squeaky wheel.
We just chose our little local bank with three branches. They mainly invest in the local area, giving loans for local home owners and businesses. Plus, its nice that we can always talk to someone in person who knows us.

12/22/2020 at 10:24 am in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 493: eBay Helping Buyers Understand Shipping Delays #84549When you can buy pieces of art for cheap that sell for $600+, that’s when things get exciting.
