Yeah, the Burundi is a very light roast. Almost tangy. I love it as an afternoon coffee.
Very nice sales. You’ve really created an amazing pipeline of high dollar sales.
If you buy coffee from our website, note you want it shipped first class. Our partner doesnt believe anyone would want cheaper shipping π
It’s been great to read all your posts on trading cards. Its a topic I know nothing about, but fun to see your action. Knowledge is money π
Welcome. Sounds like you’ve been busy on all fronts of your life.
Welcome. What part of MA do you live?
I can see ebay as being a fun hobby….until you deal with some grumpy buyers who make the hobby unfun! Ignore the haters π

This is going to be a very expensive mistake for him.
Hey, you sold three items Marty! That’s progress.
03/07/2021 at 4:05 pm in reply to: Qualified Business Income Deduction, State Local Tax Deduction, and Depreciation #86502I read about it here: https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/qualified-business-income-deduction
Its all greek to me. I’d ask a tax accountant to help you do your taxes. Anytime you start getting into doing a lot of deductions, I feel much more comfortable having a pro do the work since he’s she will know what is allowed and what are red flags.
The fee we pay to our tax accountant helps me sleep like a baby.
Anchor subscription is changing. Here’s a thread where we discuss: https://www.scavengerlife.com/forums/topic/spring-2021-seller-update-is-officially-here
We also have about 8k items. Looks like on April 1 we can downgrade to a premium subscription for the same amount of listing. Saves us $3200/yr.
For us, the big motivation is THIS IS IT. For a long time, eBay was our only source of income. Do or die. No safety net. If we didn’t sell, we couldn’t pay bills.
And the only control we had was LISTING. This was our measure of success since the more we listed, the more we sold. The stress of financial insecurity was channeled into putting our heads down and photographing/listing every day.
I feel like sellers who just do it for part-time money are much less motivated. The productive ones seem to make their eBay income pay for kid’s college, vacations, car payments. Some concrete goal that gets them listing.
Julie, whats your motivation? If you dont sell, can you pay the bills?
Good to know the info is available somewhere. Wish it was more clear.
I’ve also been confused by these funds “on hold”. Once the return has been closed, it’s not clear when that money is put back in our bak account.
There is no page that I have found allows us to trace the path from purchase–>put on hold for return—>return resolved—>money in our account.
03/04/2021 at 8:16 am in reply to: UPDATE to Seller Update: eBay Now Waiving Early Termination Fees for US Stores #86422This is a great explanation. I agree that eBay needs to compete with all these other sites with free listings. Glad they are feeling confident.
As you said, I’d rather we all make money when we sell, not when we list.
