At Target, where do you look for the items that are deeply marked down. Is it like 50% off?
I’m glad you mentioned this! We were confused after we accepted two offers but didnt see them in our solds. One is now officially sold and paid for.
I see what eBay is doing. Like Sharyn said, eBay wants no more “unsolds items”. I also would rather have the seller have to choose a payment type before they make an offer. But I guess this is fine too?
I assume eBay is bombarding the seller with the warning “until you pay someone else can buy this item”.

We had over 3,000 transactions this year and I think I got maybe 3-4 returns and almost all of those have been the last 2 months.
That is a very good community and/or you are very good with your photos and descriptions.
We probably get 2-3 returns a month. Sometimes 4-6. Clothes are often 10% return rate for fit or just “changed mond”.
Knives are always a good find if you can get them cheap. It seems more difficult to find hem these days at auctions.

I always loved finding typewriters but we stopped selling them long ago because of shipping damage + buyers being way too particular about any marks/damage.
We’ve been seeing this brand recently as well. Very low quality. Seems so cheap that people are buying and throwing away the clothes.
Clothes that look good on a model on the internet is garbage in person. I hope we can get out of this dumb cycle.

encouraged by you, we actually dived in a dumpster behind a thrift store recently. Didnt find much, but it was exciting.
Yeah, I’d be worried about paying for ads on longtail items that dont sell. By the time it does sell, the cost to keep them listed/promoted really makes our system not make sense.
I love that you sold that car cigarette lighter. I’ve ever thought to look for those but I can see why they’d be valuable, especially if you know the car model.
I also love the 25-cent Peanuts plate. I would have grabbed that in a second. Only five months to sell? Those are amateur numbers!
