Someone pointed it out here last month. I love it too!
If the shirts are not what you sent I believe that is a GSP issue. GSP is supposed to inspect items and if they send the wrong shirts to Japan that’s their problem. You are only responsible for getting them safely to Kentucky. I am sure this is incredibly frustrating to you. The only think I can think of is to read the GSP rules again and call them back and read their rules to them re-iterating that since the correct shirts made it to Kentucky it’s not your issue. I would also try to dispute the first refund but I don’t know if you can since they gave you the wrong info. I know the buyer may be scamming and using the wrong shirts and GSP probably sent the correct shirts but it might be worth a try… Maybe if ebay’s money is on the line they will be more interested in stepping in. π I’m sorry Ebay has been pretty stressful for all of us this last month. Hopefully July will calm down.
I thought that too the first time I saw it. This slogan has been in production on Ebay branded supplies since the beginning of the year at least and I am amazed no one has thought maybe it needed to be changed.
Thrifster: That logo aggravates me too. I feel like maybe someone who wasn’t paying attention worded it. Shop like nobody else Because you aren’t like anyone else seems so clunky. I would think Shop like no one else because you aren’t like anyone else would read so much easier…
Thanks for the update Sigilini. I am glad it’s still working for you. I don’t mind relisting either but then again I don’t have that many to do every day.. As long as it’s working it’s all good. Right?
Me too. It shows only 4% was ever uploaded and validated. I buy every label through eBay and my awesome mail ladies scan all of my packages before they leave my driveway. What a nice surprise to wake up to! π
I purchased a pair of men’s shoes with shoe stretchers. Took the stretchers out and listed the shoes. Got a very polite return request with a picture of the shoes turned sole to sole.. They were two different sizes. Oooopps. He got a nice apology and prompt refund. And no I did not pay for them to be sent back to me. π
Hi Steve thanks, you may have missed my last post about this. I know they aren’t a get rich scheme or the best way to sell. I was/am frustrated at the lack of options between the store tiers. I have the free 1,000 listing a month store and have 1400 items so really can’t justify going up to an anchor store. I was looking for a way to save on my insertion fees once I use up my free listings. I have free auctions and figured why not give it a shot? I think Siglini was doing it too and so was hoping to compare with them.
Hey you’re better than me. I have -1 views on all mine. π
I have such a hard time biting my tongue when people tell me things like that. Sometimes I refund but not always. Do you have an automatic shipping discount set up? Sometimes that helps but then you get the people who can’t figure out how to put things in a shopping cart. π
Saturday I had a gentleman purchase a book for 8.79. He then sent a note along with payment requesting a box to protect it from the rigors of the postal system. And also said since ebay doesn’t include email addresses anymore could I please enclose my email address in the package? Uh nope. And he got his book sent in a bubble mailer doubled over so the book was protected by three layers of bubble wrap. I haven’t heard back from that one. Sometimes you just have to roll your eyes and keep going. It’s the rude ones that are really hard to shrug off though I know. I had a lady email me furious about the old skirt I sent her with the seams pulled out. She was also mad because the hook was missing from the hook and eye. I had mentioned that in the listing and she kept asserting it wasn’t mentioned in the listing. I took the return, paid for shipping both ways and refunded immediately because what can you do.. I am 98% positive she washed it and ruined it because it was a linen skirt and it felt wrong when I got it back. Almost like there was a coating on it? But how do you back that up… Sorry not trying to hijack just trying to empathize.:) – ElleRetro Treasures: That is awful! All because you were trying to be nice..
Sigilini thank you for doing the math for me guess I have a ways to go before upgrading. π
Katie: I agree with you on them selling at or near starting price. That’s why I start it at what I want to get for it. I guess what I was trying to say was I am running an auction on something that will sell quick anyways, using a free auction and saving my fixed price listings for long tail items.Jay! That’s a great idea. π
Yep I’m one of those moms. π
Oh no Jay I know I won’t get rich. π I’m just trying to use my free listings efficiently and keep my store fees as low as possible.
I wish they had a level in between as well. I would definitely subscribe to it!
Sigilini: I was watching that too. I wasn’t sure how many to list so I didn’t run out of free auction listings. I will keep listing regardless if I use them all up but I hope to save a bit in the meantime. I am glad they are working for you. I know there’s no magic bullet but seeing things go out the door makes me feel like I’m doing something half way right…. -
