Oh, man, I don’t blame you for feeling you are “losing it”! How frustrating for you. I hope you didn’t get too many defects… Will it help to end all your listings and start fresh with a sell similar? I sure hope it gets straightened out for your soon, Linda!
Maybe you are overthinking it… maybe the artist has a little daughter named “Bailey” and this was a little inside joke between the parents… something to irreverently hang in the nursery?

My categories aren’t currently “jumbled” .. but I have been experimenting with running a variety of 24 hour sales everyday in multiple categories in differing amounts. Two “weird” things have happened this week…
1) I’ve got an entire category of men’s clothing and shoes that is still on sale 19% – and that sale has ended but all the listings remained on sale. (No big deal, really, but it is a bug for sure.)
2) The other day a best offer on a $3.00 item was automatically accepted, and I NEVER GOT THE OFFER. I have no idea how that happened, unless my kids were playing with my phone and accidentally accepted, but I don’t think so… Unfortunately it was a cheap toy and I just shipped it no huge loss, but I do not remember and would not have accepted a $3.00 offer. (Not sure if that is related to a coding error, but mentioning it because I’m still scratching my head on that one….?)While running my daily sales, I noticed the informational note in the markdown manager in the “Review your Sale Event” screen (when you go to schedule the times to start and end the sale…) this note is displayed:
If you have a sale ending today we recommend leaving at least two hours before your next sale starts.This got me thinking… do they KNOW about a coding error/bug where they know the hash or array of your store items are going to get jumbled if you run a bunch of sales ending and starting / overlapping at the same time? Have you been running multiple sales starting and ending while overlapping each other?

Number of items listed this week: 20The same thing happened to me last quarter… multiple orders, separate boxes, but only one tracking number and one box sent. I opened a case and it was resolved immediately. I was hesitant to order separate items this time, but I did, and everything turned out fine THIS TIME… 🙂
Can’t wait to listen to the podcast tonight!

Returns: 0 (But I did have “Someone hacked my eBay account… on a 99 cent auction for a keychain – which eBay cancelled the listing and refunded my fees.)
Money Spent on New Inventory This Week: $22.86Lots of sales, but mostly lower dollar.. moving out cheaper inventory, that is fine with me. My $1.99 80’s laser printer just crapped out on me, so I caved in and bought a new Brother laser. The base model was on sale for $69.99 this week at Office Depot.

When I didn’t have a store I got freebie’s like crazy and store promos.. then I upgraded to a Basic Store.. Once I hit around 250 listings it was more cost effective to go with the Premium Store. Once I was established with a store, I have rarely if any gotten any additional free promos – I think they are all geared to getting you to commit to a store. It does seem like a leap, but then you feel extra committed to reaching 1000 because you are paying for it, so may as well use it, right? My increased sales more than pay for the store cost. For the “around the house” cheapies can you just use some of the free auctions?I am enjoying listening to the podcast while I type!

Bonanza: 0A slow week for me, kind of a bummer … I got a Velcro Vero violation… I had “Velcro” fastener listed for a trucker hat and I got caught (Despite being warned on this blog, this one fell through the cracks.) I also had several UPI cases and a few cancelled sales (cancelled before shipping so I technically didn’t count them). Overall a depressing week with low $ sales. Spent the week removing active content and making listings “mobile friendly”. Hopefully this coming week will be a better one, sales wise!
Maybe the customer felt bad for dropping it and it was some type of “peace offering” for having to return the thing? The wrapped cookies looked kind of like a present! 😮 What a crazy eBay story…

Sold 1 item for $37.61 (New Router)This seemed like a slow week this week – I did not have any “high dollar” sales – but not any low dollar sales either – all bread and butter shoes and shirts. I bought an excessive amount of clothes at the Goodwill Outlet this week, so I have to get busy prepping and listing it all. I also focused this week on listing very high dollar items – yet no good sales from this stuff yet – but I will report when it happens. My next goal is to reach 1000 listings… slowly but surely.
oh man, you got a crazy one – hopefully he will get bored with your lack of response and soon move on… accept the return and keep ignoring him!
LOL, I also sold an “Amputee” high heel sandal – (I bought a pair of sandals from a thrift store and the tag was strategically placed over a broken strap rendering the other shoe un-wearable.) Why would an amputee be wearing a dangerous stiletto? I had someone interested who wanted to buy it for an art project, but it fell through.. I eventually did sell the single shoe – and made $5.00 profit. Who knows what they were using it for, but there is a market for “One Shoe only” – amputees and replacements and just perhaps weird collections or designers.
