Had a buyer in Spain purchase a vintage he-man figure and asked me to pack it as if barbarians we going to trample it! That is what he referenced the postal workers in his country to. So I did. He received it and sent a positive message back. He-Man lives for yet another day!Barbarians destroyed!
Ours is a Kenmore. Old Kenmore. No fancy stuff all manual. EASY TO WORK ON!!!My suggestion get one you can repair yourself. You will save bags of money if you do!! We will never ever get one we can not fix ourselves!
My father-in-law has to go to the VA get a mold made of his feet , then they send the mold off and the shoes are then made to the exact measurement of his feet. If these shoes are like my father-in-laws then it might be a hard sale.
I’m thinking exactly like Jay here. My father-in-law has to have special shoes made through the VA.
His shoes don’t have any labels on them as well. They have the same look almost as the shoes you have pictured. They are for people who do have disability issues.Hello! When you accept the return just let them know that they have to return ALL of the other Legos as well. I know you said it was just one set that was affected, but that you had other Lego sets/pieces in the lot as well.
I say report him!!No one should behave like this towards another person for any reason. Whether they are a kid or an adult. Rudeness is not acceptable in any form, and blatant disrespect as well. So many people today think it is okay to walk all over other people, because if you don’t allow them to it is infringing on their rights!Report him, block him, and tell him you did it to!!That is what I would do.
We have had people and even Ebay use our photos for their listings. We contact the individual and inform them they need to change their photos as the ones they are using are not of their product and we will contact Ebay and let them know. That being said Ebay has used some of our photos as their own as well and we have had to contact Ebay and ask them to remove them as well. We do this only for photos as that is what the customer(s) will see and we do not want them to get the wrong impression of an item. Also we use certain backgrounds that just stand out and we do not want a future customer to associate a Ebayer that used our photos with us as they might have had a bad experience before hand. As far as titles and written content goes we have no problem with someone using our words for their listing. There is after all only so many ways one can describe an article of clothing/toy/game and so forth. Yes, truly unique items I can somewhat understand, but for everything else I do not see the harm in it.
I go to estate sales all the time. I have no problem whipping out my phone and looking something up on ebay to find it’s value. The items usually already have a price on them anyway so it’s not like they can change it just because they see you with your phone out.
I have never had a customer return something broken that they received in perfect condition. I have just had things arrive to a few broken because shipper was reckless. Each time I contact the shipping company and start a claim. It is so much easier than trying to get ebay to deal with it. But Ryanne is right never use the automated system always call. I use this motto for just about anything ebay related. Their automated system has a lot of wiggle room for them to interpret their policies that should be black and white .
I’ve had the same thing happen to me at least 3 different times. They pay, I ship, they receive item weeks/months later they open a Paypal case. Each time I send tracking information for item purchased, date purchased, date shipped. Paypal has always sided with me thankfully. I mean as far as I know you have to enter passwords and such to pay for your items and sometimes to get to your ebay account. If these people don’t want others buying stuff on their account don’t give them your password!
12/07/2016 at 2:35 pm in reply to: Dealing with "not as described" (but really buyer's remorse) ebay returns #7550Yes, that is the exact same wording in the email I received. The rep did tell me before we got off the phone that I would receive an email with this statement and that it just means that the customer can return the item they just have to pay for the shipping.
12/07/2016 at 10:11 am in reply to: Dealing with "not as described" (but really buyer's remorse) ebay returns #7478Had a NAD return request on Mon. Buyer said the shoe was not a 9M because her feet hung out the back. Said I should have put in the listing that the shoe ran small to size. As if I would know that! Did not respond to her,did not click on anything regarding to her return, but called ebay the next day. Rep could see the pictures showing the size as 9M. Rep opened a case for me, found in my favor, and sent the buyer an email stating she was responsible for return shipping. So now all I have to do is wait to get the shoes back and only refund her the purchase price minus restocking fee. With cases like these I have learned to always contact ebay first.
12/01/2016 at 11:57 am in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Inaugural invite, trigger finger mittens, back saw, expanding file #6987We have been having great sales for the past couple of months. This past Monday sold a vintage compucorp scientific calculator for $719!!Paid $2.00 at a church yard sale!It had these tubes for the numbers so cool.
Hello everyone! My husband and I have been married for 18yrs. come this Jan. When we got married when spent a total of $1,200.00 tops for everything! Dress $100.00 consignment/thrift store. No tux husband bought suit $150.00 that he could reuse. Bridesmaid told them what color the dress needed to be if they already had it great if not found a nice dress that could be used for other occasions for between $50-$70. Church was free(husbands family used to attend), photographer $50(knew him from church), piano player/singer $50(knew from church). Decorations were done by family members. Food was done by family members, finger foods, punch bowl(mother-in-law use to cater, all utensils came from her years of catering,so free). Cake was 3 tiers $100.00! Preacher $50(knew from church). All in all we had about 50-70 guest. Wedding meal was in the Churches banquet hall. So it is very possible to have a wonderful wedding on a low budget. You just have to ask yourself what is important, the flash and glam of most weddings or what the wedding really means to you. For us we didn’t care if no one else was there it was for us.
Just dealt with this exact situation this past Sat. Woke up buyer says did not authorize payment. Went to Paypal opened claim up loaded tracking number and sent some notes as to exact day sold, shipped, and day it arrived at customer’s CONFIRMED address. Had to wait until 9:00 A.M., but called Paypal service rep. looked at my documentation add it to some notes. She then closed the case on my side because I was able to provide tracking and address information. My funds were released right then and there. Always call and always try to up load the tracking information.
