Business is business. If the numbers make sense, buy. If they don’t eff him.

My own video for the week:
I have a second store where I exclusively sell low dollar <$30 items that can be sent via lettermail.
I sell mostly vintage ephemera and embroidered patches. I’ve got about 900 items listed in the store, and do about $1000/mo in gross sales on an incredibly low COGS.
I’ve got similar items that I sell through my main store as well. If the ROI is there, and worth doing, I’ll sell it.
Very cool. May need to give it a try.
Another attempt at my own “what sold” video… Still trying to get the hang of it.
05/01/2019 at 9:20 am in reply to: Well… full-time it is! My eBay Journey goes full throttle. New Journal #61022Thanks for sharing! As someone who has very recently gone full-time,(March), I can tell you that it can be stressful, and is a lot of work, but is also incredibly rewarding. I still enjoy driving past my old workplace (on my way to ship sold items). I left of my own accord, and driving past while doing something I enjoy feels like the ultimate “FU”.
My wife also has a good job that has really helped take some of the pressure off of me, which is a blessing.
I may have missed it, but where do you live?
Haven’t listened yet, but will tomorrow morning while I’m packing!

Amazon.com sales: $1,940.00 (Approx $582.00 net profit)All around pretty average week. Maybe slightly slow. Had a few decent sales pull my main store numbers up, and Amazon was working well.
Started listing on Poshmark, just as a trial. No sales/offers yet, but I’ve only listed 12 or 13 things over there so far. Not holding on to a ton of hope, but it would be nice to have an additional income steam/platform working for me.

Those 50’s Gillette Superspeed/Rocket/Milord razors are wonderful shavers. A nice, mild, consistent, easy shave. One of my favorites to use.
You got a decent price for yours. That’s around where it should be with a case/etc.
I’m right around 1700 listings on my main account and my total fees are currently 29.9% of my total sales. Likely largely as a result of the 700 additional listings over my monthly allotment of 1000 I’m guessing.
I don’t have enough listings to bump up to the next store yet, so that’s the price to play.
They were 502’s. Redline selvedge. Likely mid-late 1960’s. Size 35×31 and in great shape.
I recently sold a pair the same. Selvedge denim, 501xx, but made in Turkey. Threw me for a loop. Paid $10, sold in two days for $100.
We don’t have a firm date for our move yet, but we’ll likely get on the road on May 22 or 23. The drive will take us four-ish days. We’re pulling an enclosed trailer behind us with our bed, enough clothes/nescessities for a few weeks, and all of the eBay inventory and office supplies.
I’ll likely set my handling time to ten business days, and shorten it if/when possible, depending which day we leave. As for postage, I currently ship from Montana via a courier that takes my packages across the border from Canada. Just last week, I set up a postal box in Maine, just across the border from our new home. Any packages that ship before the move will ship from Montana, but I’ll swap my return address to the Maine address a week or two earlier. Once we’re in New Brunswick, I’ll start driving packages across the border to USPS as soon as possible.
Once we’re landed, mission one is set up our bed. Mission two is to get ebay turned back on, unpacked, and ready to go. I don’t want any more downtime than is absolutely necessary.
I was on a quick in/out thrift store trip last August, and walked past the men’s jeans racks. I didn’t have time to look at each pair, but just took a quick look for anything that had “the look”.
I spotted a pair of Levi’s with said look, and they were made in USA. I had never heard of the cut before, and didn’t have time to look them up, but they looked and felt interesting. I paid $10 Canadian.
Got them home and researched, but could find zero comps. I very rarely run auctions, but started these at $49.99 on a ten day. They went crazy with bids and offer messages right away.
They ended up selling for $899.00usd.

Love the rubber repair tin. Like almost everything, there’s a small devout (ravenous) group of collectors out there that collect tire repair kits/tins. I’ve sold a few in the past. Usually just a small little tin with a rasp, some patches, and some glue, but people collect them for the graphics/companies.
And funny enough, I just looked up Mille Bornes about two weeks ago. Saw it in a thrift store, and had never seen/heard of it before. It was newer than yours and really rough, so paying the $2 to get $10 didn’t make sense at the time.
